Any of you ever do origami?

I rarely do origami, but when I do... it's usually something big and complex.

I also do money origami too. ;)

I can do the bird the one when you pull the tail the wings flap. My daughter made Christmas ornaments out of 12, 3x3 pieces of wrapping paper on each one.

Yours is pretty cool VamPyroX

Thank you. The one I did uses 30 sheets of 3x1 paper.

I actually cut up several sheets of notebook paper for this project. :)
 
:jaw: The look on my 10 year old daughters face when I told her how many pieces of paper you used. she wants to know how long did it take you to make it
 
I love to do origami! My mom and I used to do it so much when we were in Okinawa. Sometimes I make birds, stars, frogs, and many others!

Well, if I sat down and just focused on it... probably under a hour.

I started on it the day before and did a few sheets of paper since I was already busy with the holidays with my family. The next day, I was watching a DVD on my desk while working on it. Altogether, it took me a few hours... because of watching DVDs and spending time with my family. :)
 
I used to make them as a kid for fun. I dont know why I stopped. However, I did an origami project with my class last year when we were studying the Japanese culture. It was fun!
 
That's pretty cool and impressive. The only kind of origami I can make is an airplane, it flies too and....oh? That don't count?? :lol: :D


Anyhow, that's really neat and what other items have you done?

That is pretty cool. A origami for a airplane does count RR LOL.

I haven't done any Origami for years... I used to make frog, swan and bird.
