Hurmm it isn't just child pornography that's wrong with the world today. You gotta wonder how they became what they are, every plant grew from a seed which came from a tree. Maybe they were abused as a kid and inturn got that mentality, who knows? This is why I don't take psychology. Eeh, don't attack me here because I don't condone nor support it in any way but consider this, what if it's our morals that're wrong. What if it's simply human nature?

People rarely get along and divide up others into groups. What if that's not wrong either, it's shits n giggles people and left up to speculation. Where does it all come from, how does it get encoded in your mind.

All's I can see is everyone agreeing and expressing great rage, yeah, ok, fine it pisses you off, do more about it. It's stupid to have strong opinions on something yet take no actions. I'm sorry but what I'm going to say isn't going to settle well with a lot of people, but I reserve the right to state my opinion. If you can't handle a person's opinion with respect, then you do not need to be on a public forum.

If you buy regular adult magazines and other merchandise from the adult entertainment industry, you are supporting child pornography as well. No one likes to talk about that or admit it...but a lot of the industry who are in the adult entertainment business are in it solely for the money...and child pornography is where the real money is. It's not really about sex...it is more about power and the abuse of power. Somewhere along the way, we've lost sight of the real victims of pornography.

If you own a Playboy magazine, you are supporting child pornography. Simple as that. Anyone that says the industry does not support child pornography in any way or shape or form is an idiot who needs to be slapped in the face of reality. Wake up, people. Porn is money. They don't give a shit about who gets hurt as long as the money is rolling...and the cameras will roll/snap as long as there's a demand.

The psychological aspects of pornography is really scary. It starts out that the person gets stimulated by softer porns, even as soft as a bra advertisment on a commerical. Eventually the mind becomes bored and the person craves "harder" porn...by the time the person graduates to hardcore porn, s/he becomes almost immune to it. Some people take it to the next level. It's like a drug.

Some people say, "It's not real. It's just play." And that mindset is EXACTLY what leads people to problems related to sexuality, rape, and other issues. Anyone who says that rape is not about sex but only about power and anger is wrong...while for the most part it is true..there have been cases where it was purely about sex because of sexual disorders.

Do you have any sources for the part about rape and sexual disorders?

Because that is NOT what I learned in my human sexuality class when we covered porn.

And yes, child porn is sick. I don't even watch porn (its zzzz) but children...It just makes me so mad.

Who else is watching Oprah right now and feeling disgusted by how bad child pornography is in our society?

They showed that there was training manual on how to sexually assault babies to toddlers. There are three girls in the same neighborhood who are talking about their horrific experiences with the same pervert. I was really disgusted and I wanted to cry.

Unfortunately those on the show say police is really underfunded... I wouldn't hesitate to help save those poor kids if I could.

No, I didn't watch Oprah. But, what about on television broadcasts that it is almost impossible to keep children from seein' pornography ?

In the near future durin' Obama's presidency, there will be a decision, the court essentially found that any pornographic work had some measure of " serious artistic value, " at least accordin' to some observers, and this any censorship of pornographic material was an unconstitutional restriction on the First Amendment. Result: Pornographic magazines are openly displayed in gas stations, grocery stores, and on newsstands ( as they have been in some European countries for several years ).

This last paragraphic above I wrote down from PDF notes through one of the sites. It also explained about the case of the decision in Miller v. California back in 1973.
