Now that you all know that I just got Xbox live and I'm still a newbie to Xbox live...

We all know that the PS2 have some online service as well (SOE) and some games that offer online gaming do accept broadband connection and all, etc...so I wonder if its possible if there are some games that would allow PS2 owners and Xbox360 owners play the same game on different console or naw? The reason I asked is cause Fei Ku only have a PS2 and is hooked to PSU online with her PS2, but we know that I cant play with her since Xbox live users can only play with other Xbox live users while the PS2 and PC owners can play together so...I wonder if there are any other games that will allow PS2 owners and Xbox360 owners to play together? I sure hope so!

If not, then do sony and ms REALLY hate eachother?
 
It depeds on the game and the devlopers.....

But then xbox Live aint my first time online playing games... I spent so much time online on the i-sphere.com servers playing Quake 2 and MS Zone.com playing Midtown Madness 1 and 2 (xbox Live's Grandaddy) and that was way back in 1999 with a fucken slow-as-Yugo 56k modem!

Hell Sony and M$ really hate each other as much as Ford and Chevy hate each other naturally...lol!
 
Nope. Only Live gamers can play against Live gamers. Too much difference in coding from system to system to make it work correctly.

If I'm not mistaken, there is one game in development that is supposed to allow PC and X360 gamers to play together. I don't remember what the game is called, though.
 
Steel, actually there is one game called final fantasy Xi online. The first game ever to cross-consoles which pc vs ps2 vs 360.

ah really? pretty cool...but I dont think Fei Ku liked that game since she said that game was long and boring, etc...even takes 3 years to complete the whole game! lol I hope there are more games like that.
