LOL! Hey everyone my gosh! I met Liebling,DeafMonkeyGal,GalaxyAngel,DixieFrogChick,BabyAngel,MizzDeaf,DreamDef,Vampy,Horselover61 and Peachylady all for the first time tonight! *sorry if I missed anyone* Then I met Cheri and Angel and Roadrunner again for the second time! Also had Moonflower with me whom I met 3 times already! Oh yes I forgot to add meeting ALL the KIDS! RR's two daughter's-Pam's three sons and Dixie's daughter as well and horselovers son


OMG everyone was so nice and sweet and all were such a very good looking bunch!

We had so much fun just chatting away. It felt like old friends finally coming together. What can I say about each individually besides them all being awesome?

Liebling- a very nice and beautiful and sweet gal. She made me see the USA through her eyes. She was just like a little girl eating up the sights in our country. Had a lot of fun meeting her and cant wait to see her tomorrow again.

Deaf Monkey Gal- oh so sweet and so shy, but after a while she warmed up and was just chatting away. She is exactly like she is online in real life. Gotta love that banana weeder!

GalaxyAngel-very sweet and funny and nice. She had me laughing so much! Gosh I cant say enough to describe Galaxy.

DixieFrogChick-she is definitely a nice gal. Unfortunately I didnt get a chance to talk to her much but man her daughter was a cutie!She seemed very tired tonight though probably cause she arrived late!

BabyAngel-very nice and very sweet! Had fun talking to her in the short time we had! Alot younger than I expected her to be! She has a very sweet personality.

Mizz Deaf- Sweet but oh so quiet! She didnt talk much! But she did tell me our dreamdef might be a devil in disguise! HAHAHA! She was really nice and wish she would have talked more! Could that have been shyness?

DreamDef-So sweet and nice but man she had me ROFL! She is so funny and ooooo so badddddddd! She was picking on my hubby AND Brad AND Vampy! Gotta love a Gal that picks on the guys!

Vampy-at first really quiet and didnt really join us at first! Then I got to talking to him! Dont let him fool you guys! as this one is a real softie and sweetie! I did learn something new from him today as mms or was that Mss? He talked most of the night with hubby! Could there be a new friendship growing there?


Horselover61-very funny gal! very sweet and her son is so quiet and very nice too! Horselover61 was the first one I met tonight! We talked and talked and talked! She had me ROFL as well.


Peachylady-she seemed very nice! And sadly we left right after she showed up! Cant wait to get to know her better tomorrow! But she seemed like she would be an awesome lady!

Ofc WE all know I adore those twinnies and Brad!

But here is a little something I love about those three as well

Pammie- very very sweet and kind! She really cares about people in general!Cant wait to see her in her very beautiful wedding dress!

Brad- aggravating but nice! He loves to pick on me about being closer to 40! Such a brat! But we all love brats dont we?

Cheri-one funny chick and very sweet but also gotta love a gal that says horny chick unite!

And as for Moonflower who I have met 3 times now!-she is very nice but too quiet! She didnt talk too much tonight or least I didnt think so! But she does love to pick on my hubby which is all good in my book! Gotta pick on those guys!

All In ALL I fell in love with each and every single one of them and count them all as a bro or sis in my books! Very beautiful bunch and was very worth meeting each and every single one of them! Will always cherish the memories of this weekend for the rest of my life! And no matter where I am or what Im doing I will always hold the memory of each every one of them in my heart forever!
 
Glad your'e having a great time so far, Bear and your brief descriptions of everybody r cool. If you can, say hi to them all for me.

my friend in NY
my cousin in Ma.


All at SAME day. SAME time.. but different locations. then turn out my truck couldn't be fix in time :( so i miss all wedding :(

Bear, that is wonderful that you have a get together with some AD members before Angel/RR's wedding. Sound like you all had a good time getting to know each of the AD members. I wish I could be there too as I was invited to the wedding but unfortunately I couldn't afford to go. I have already sent them a nice gift. I hope you all have a wonderful time at the wedding and I will be thinking of you all. Don't forget a drink for me. ;)

I am curious who is Dixiefrogchick? I looked up in the members list and there is no sn in that name here in alldeaf. :confused:
 
Cool, Bear... I'm sure it was great to meet with them all and have some good fun...I know that RR did invite me to the wedding and I did tell him I cant promise him I would come completely as there were things that was ongoing last year and early this year that turned my life upside and other issues that did prove to be too much for me to deal with completely.. I did send RR and Angel a wedding card to congrat them as well....I do hope the wedding tomorrow will be beautiful...
 
Bear, glad you are having fun meeting some Aders before the wedding. I wish can meet you as well. Unfortunately, can't afford to go, do have a wonderful time tmw. Give everyone hello from me.
Tmw is the big day how exciting.

I know what its like to finally meet someone you've known on a forum for years in real life for the first time. Its really neat. Thats how I got to meet people like J. Paul Jackson, Justin Tackett and Craig O'Neill.

This is getting wheels in my head turning that there should be an Arkansas Deaf Meetup sometime.

They all went to Angel and Roadrunner's wedding today. Since I have been a member here for about 6 months, I learned that they all have been members here on AD for a long time..probably about 4 years or so so I guess they all became close thru AD and are finally meeting each other for the first time in person. I think it is neat! :)

No impromptu meeting, its the wedding of the century for AD. Roadrunner and Angel got married today and a few members got a chance to be a part of the event. I was invited unfortunately, I was not able to afford it. Maybe, another time can meet up with the ADers.
 
Shel's basically right, Dixie; I'll add that some are meeting for the second time now as they had an AD get-together around this time last year.....another AD get-together is already in the works for next year, I think. I had an idea about that but they discarded it like yesterday's trash! Lol....

I forgot..where will be the next AD get together be held at? Will it be on a cruise?

Last I heard, it's gonna be pretty much in the same place as last year (St. Looney)
