old three hundreds

i just drove back to my home in austin from my family in louisiana for weekend

when i drove, i saw few history markers..

i read them,.. 2 markers were from old three hundreds connections..

i did research about it on website..

now i wonder any one does know about this?
just curious!
i learn something new about it!
interesting!
 
no one rely this lol!

ok three hundreds means 300 men who works for Stephen (sp) F Austin .

they go to Texas area before it became Tx. they put there and live it .
they end up war with them
then won then own lands

that is history before Mexian war..late 1800's
