Old Testament vs New Testament

I have known people who have intensive knowledge of the bible and they dont believe in God. Never know if Cane Corso has knowledge of it or not. She did say in another thread that she used to go to church growing up.

Cane Corso stated in another thread I used to go to Church; it confused me. When I was nine years old, I had my doubts in god. 9 years old? Who would have the knowledge of the bible at the age of 9? She claim that she don't understand it, so again, she doesn't know anything about the bible. I rest my case.

When I was younger I didn't understand the bible either, The bible can be very confusing, Only those who study and get the understanding of the bible, would understand it. It took me a while to get the understanding of it, Thanks to Reba without her I would be still confused.

How do u really know that she doesnt know anything about the bible? Maybe she knows enough to determine her beliefs. We will never know until she tells us.

Right..I have said in many other religious threads that I respect the fact that u all believe in God but I don't like it when I state my beliefs they tell me that I will go to hell. Just feels like a threat.

Anyways...can I ask u something...I noticed that some of us ( I know I probably did) make jokes about God, is that offensive even though we r not doing it to really piss u all off? Just sometimes, I have a very weird sense of humor but I noticed that many of u got upset at some other threads about poking fun at God. Just wanted to know.

Heck, I even laugh at some not so nice jokes made about deaf people. That's just me. I gravitate towards humor.

Shel- I don't find those humors to be funny at all, Labeling God a murder is funny to you? Not to me. Making up lies and assumptions what really happened in it's history is not a humor to me either. Destroying God by giving him a bad name and ruining his reputation by spreading lies around is not a humor to me. It's the same goes for people, Would you like it if someone spreads lies about you around trying to give your name a bad name ruining your reputation would you find that funny? I think not.

forgot to add...now that I think about it and remember...the comments that u mentioned above where brought up by AD members that were serious. They werent joking. What I mean was like in Kingofnoobs' threads or posts about Jesus saving someone from something silly. Those are the kinds of jokes I am referring to. Or the ones about Mary having sex because she was drunk.....they were silly. Nothing serious.. Know what I mean?

The stuff u brought up were used to debate not as jokes so I can understand where u are coming from but then again, I understand where the other members are coming from.

People who called u names or whatever because of your beliefs is wrong..that I will agree with u on!

I do not find God a murder is funny or humor but fact accord the bible. I don´t see anything where we "mock" God as a murder but fact and logic because the bible said that God killed the people.

Look at my both sons... Oh yes, they have knowledge of Evolution and Creatism. They were taught by school and us...until they decided to beleive which. Danny is for Evolution and Alan is for both Evolution and Creatism.

I was younger, I learn from bible stories at school, etc. I know a lot about Bible history until I learn about scriptures from JW people.......... I was like wow... I prefer the bible history over study scriptures.

The bible stated that The Ten Commandments represent God’s moral law, just like how Government has it's own laws that we have to follow. What happens when you don't follow the law? You face charge, send to prison or jail. With God, "Sin" rebellion against the rule of God, he has the right to determine to bring judgments on those disobediences, and he even said it at the begin, sin equal death, Because of his holy nature, He must punish sin. Get your fact straight, Liebling.

God already kicked out and throw out Lucifer and 1/3 angels to earth from heaven. Lucifer's name was changed to Satan. Lucifer was perfect in beauty and wisdom. Lucifer shielded God's throne. The 1/3 angels become demons who joined to Satan. Lucifer wanted instead to God. God not accepted it but Lucifer forget that God created Lucifer first the place.
