Oktoberfest- ADers gathering

If I still live in Washington state. More likely that I couldn't make it to there... But now now now, I'm in Bitchigan (michigan)... I am ABLE to make it to meet all of you!!! *chuckles*

Only very few of you know what I look like... Freakybaby knows what I look like... I feel like to play "Find Waldo"

Just kidding, but most of people got stumped when they saw the real me. They thought that I was somewhat of a old man or something like that. Just that I enjoy being someone so unruly, and different!

Yes, I'll love to meet many of you and am looking forward to it!

For those people who think that they are able to make it to there. It'll be worth your time and good ol' times.

Yeah Right!

Theres no way I'll be going. For 1, money. For 2, Leila, my daughter. For 3, no freaking car to drive...yeah, I'm not license to drive.

As for distance to drive if I have all money and car to drive... I'll be driving like 10 hours from RI to ON. Yah Freaking Right! I think not! (Whisper signed: I aint taking plane either.)
 
Oktoberfest in Utah is already running and will last until October!! It is not just a weekend event. Vote on a weekend and then we all get together and have fun!

August 30, 31 & September 1 (Labor Day Weekend)
September 6 & 7
September 13 & 14
September 20 & 21
September 27 & 28
October 4 & 5

I won't be able to go October 4 and 5 because of an ASL/Interp workshop I need to attend in SLC.

Ahh, " the burning man" is very good place to go! Very artistic art show!

If it's near where you are from, then it's worth seeing this place! :D

The Oktoberfest certainly sounds like a lot of fun and people definitely will have a blast socialising and meeting new friends and so forth! Sure wish I were going! :cry: Oh well...hopefully in the very near future, I'll be able to afford to fly over to Ontario, Canada and PARTY my arse off! ;) :rofl:

I'm not sure when is Deaflympics in Melby, Australia... but I'm sure it's in 200(5) right? Because I still plan to come over there to party my ass off! :mrgreen:

Btw, getting back to Oktoberfest... They have good eats, brews, and MUSIC...(Music?! ha ha, but for some of you who can hear a bit and enjoy listening to them)

They have cool hats, shorts, socks, and suspenders... :lol:
 
Yewp yewp... which weekend do you all want to meet? We need to make plans as soon as possible as tickets are sold in different packs. There are meals tickets and there are tickets that you just enter the festivities just to drink. I suggest meal tickets because you get to experience the German food and the festivities as well.

Hi everyone.. making a post to inform you that I've been discussing with several ADers and we all have seem to agree on one date. I've done my research for which festhallen ( festivities hall) is the best, ie.. price range, time, and especially age range for us. I didn't want to choose a festhallen that was not suited for our age. I managed to find the best one for our ages and it is the "Altes Muenches Haus" Festhallen in Kitchener, Ontario. The price for the the general admission is $15.00 and the doors open at 8:30 pm. The date is Sat. Oct 11th as this weekend falls during the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. You can order your ticket on-line. There are hotels and motels in Kitchener.. it's best to reserve ASAP... or at least PM me and DirtyOldMan as we both have been planning to do this for the longest time. Here's an idea of what "Altes Muenches Haus" Festhallen looks like...

this is great freaky I wished i was going but hey maybe who knows someone and i will plby find a way to go if it happens....... BUT we re not sure at this point....... BUT if its not happening then THEN whenever the AD party hits i ll be glad to find a way to go with my AD buddy :)

That picture of the beer tent makes me very nogastlic for the great times I spent in these beer tents in Germany! :-(
 
MamaKatzie can't make it, but one of my Charlie Chickies can take over for me *winksa* and Freaky you betta tell me all about it! I've been there in '96 and had a bl-a-a-ast time so you betta go or you'll be sa-a-ahrry!
