Tell me why the government forcing you to buy health insurance or pay a penalty. Thats the same crap use on Auto insurance. You must buy auto insurance in order to drive. Insurance is the biggest rip off in business. Just like if you buy homeowners insurance and something happens to your home sure they replace or rebuild your home but they raise your rates. Samething with auto insurance if you have an accident they raise your rates. now thats what i call communism.

Health care insurance and auto insurance are not for the same reasons. The reason auto liability insurance is required is to protect the other people whom you might harm with your driving.

Raising the rates of people who've made claims is not communism.

if you drive without auto insurance... you will get ticketed and perhaps jailed. and your car will be towed.

if you don't get Obamacare.. nothing will happen. the government cannot legally order you to pay up even if you get fined. The Supreme Court has ruled that the government cannot forcibly collect fines from you.

the government does not determine your insurance rate or jack up your rate. the companies do that. how is that communism? do you even know what's the difference between communism or socialism?

The farmer I posted about hired students to help pick the veggies. But the field is gone now b/c the land was sold , he had land to grow hay too and I tried to get a job there was I was told it was men work .

Not going to happen here in New York, you will be immediately arrested, and have your vehicle towed to auto pound. There is no way around. No insurance, your vehicle gets impounded automatically.

You will have another charge against you, that is called littering and some locations you can get slapped with a grand fine.

I've seen a captioned version in TV. The driver was pulled over and ticketed for speeding. The driver was furious and yelled at cop that he should do something more productive like catching crooks and drug dealers instead of "preying" on people for traffic violations.

at 0:08 - the angry driver tried to grab officer's ticket book but surprisingly enough... the officer remained professional and calm

for a minute, the officer was explaining to driver about ticket and the procedure like court date if he wants to contest it.

at 2:15 - the angry driver grabbed the ticket off from officer's hands and ripped it off and threw it away. the officer calmly informed him that he needed to pick up the tickets or he'll write up another ticket for littering. the driver got even angrier and picked up the ticket.

for a couple minutes - the angry driver continued to be very verbally-abusive to officer and the officer patiently and calmly listened to his tirade.

at 4:40 - the angry driver finally took off and the officer said "have a good day" and shrugged.

Issuing a ticket is not collecting a fine. It's only an order to appear in court. The judge decides whether you are guilty or not. If you're not guilty, there's no fine anyway.

Mandatory insurance isn't form of communism but it is more of authoritarian that is different from communism.

Reba is correct that you require to have liability insurance (proof of financial responsibility) to protect other drivers.

Homeowner insurance is mandatory if you have mortgage.

The private insurance companies is nature of capitalist, not communist, so under communist government, insurance costs are strictly controlled by government.

If you can't afford to get health insurance so you can be exempted, but it is irresponsible not have a health insurance and you will make medical cost goes up as hospital lose money.

Don't want auto insurance? Sure, you can move to DC, NYC, SF or Chicago that where own a car isn't necessary.

I pay about the same too , I get a discount for being a safe driver and having AAA you get a discount too it was a 10% but not anymore. It also depend where you park your car at night .

OMG!!! I think this that happen out here that guy would been haul off to jail.

Also you could lose the car if you don't have insurance coverage to repair the car.
