I think -- that cartoon should have not been out there in the first place.

It's kind of ironic if you ask me because as you know February is known as for the Black Month and well.... by using the monkey - that is also an offensive term for them.

That alone is just outrageous even if it was not linked to Obama.

Yeah and you'd think the NY Post Editors would have thought twice before approving the political cartoon. Apparently they didn't and thought it was funny. :roll:
 
That was a disturbing cartoon and I am surprised that they are able to run that.
 
It is controversial. Controversy sells papers. Plus, it leads to other stories when the protests over it start. Those sell more papers.

I am just surprised that you can make fun of killing the president. You're not allowed to say you are going to kill the president, right?
 
I'm sure we will see something soon.

NYC can be a ticking time bomb with their race riots.

Yeah, it is surprising. But since this didn't actually say anything about killing the President..it just implied a connection..it probably can't be seen as an actual threat.

I can't see the cartoon so can't comment on the exact contents, but it's only a cartoon. I'm all for freedom of speech.

The cartoon is showing 2 police officers pointing a gun at the monkey and the monkey is laying dead down in a pool of blood on the ground with 3 bullet holes in the chest with a comment that says "They'll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill."
