Why is Byrdie banned?
Byrdie's back!
Byrdie's back!
How is it hypocrisy? and how is death penalty cruel? lethal injection is most painless death. And how is that unusual punishment? Do you feel sorrier for criminals than you do for victims? If criminals don't deserved death, either does the victims.
I like tea and scones!
Yes, I'm sure women are human. Which is why they shouldn't have to live with the guilt of having murdered their baby. Particularly if their family pushed them into it. Lots of Pro life people are female.
What I want to know is where you stand about living human babies. One's who had an abortion because they were differant or even because they are female. Why should anyone be alowed to leave them in a room to die painfully for 45 minutes. Why support that.
So caring about the rights of others is 'whining' now is it. Just wait and see how you feel when you are elderly and your family are trying to presurize you into killing yourself so they can inherit your money. You will be glad about someone 'whining' to preserve your right of life when that happens I assure you.
Accord the links at Death Penatly threads, lethal injection is not painless death.

The American Bar Association urged Texas Gov. George W. Bush to block Cruz's execution because he has been diagnosed as being mentally retarded with an IQ of 63. Officials from France, Sweden and the European Union also wrote letters supporting Cruz.
A Pro-Life does not necessarily means that all death is wrong, Some death is right like death penalty, if a person committed capital crimes, that person deserved death.
Pro lifers only does not supports the taking of innocent human life.. Don't get confused what Pro life stands for.
By the way I'm sorry about your daughter, Her mother did was wrong and she deserves the death penalty.
It's cruel because killing one person will not bring the other person back. When you kill someone, whether it be lethal injection or the electric chair, you are sparing them the consequences of their crime. Some criminals even encourage prosecutors to give them the death penalty because it's preferable to spending the rest of their lives behind bars. Would you like to spend 30-40 years of your life, cooped up in a box with no contact with the outside world? I consider that a far worse punishment.
One last thing as well. If you consider yourself a Christian, don't you find it even mildly hypocritical to call for the death of someone? Isn't that God's duty and not yours? Aren't people supposed to be able to forgive each other?
One can support a candidate without agreeing with them on every single point. I have yet, in all my years of voting, to find a candidate with which I agreed 100%. But if I agree with 99% of their position, and disagree with 1%, it is still more than enough agreement on which to base my vote.
You call that worst punishment by sitting in prison for life or for 30-40 years getting free meals 3 times a day, free cable, they don't have to work, they don't have to do their laundry, they get all the luxury.
How is that hypocritical when I don't do the killing, my hands are clean. We aren't allow to discuss religious anywhere on AD, so I cannot say more.
I find it disturbing that there are people like Cheri who think that the death penalty is "right".
In fact, let's get the facts straight:
Abortion (or killing fetuses to pro-lifers) : Wrong
Sending off young adults to fight in senseless wars: Wrong
The death penalty: Right
Now, no one here has come out in support of this but to illustrate how a pro-lifer could take their beliefs to the extreme:
Bombing Abortion Clinics and killing Abortion doctors: Right
Supporting contraceptives and sex education: Wrong
Abstinence-only education: Right
Forcing rape victims to go along with pregnancy in spite of the trauma that's been inflicted upon them: Right
Also, "Pro-Life" doesn't make sense. Anti-Abortion is more like it. Pro-Life implies that the person supports life and when they support war and the death penalty, that kind of cancels out the pro-life label.
You have a pretty twisted set of beliefs that you should examine sometime.
That's very insulting respond to say to someone, if that's how you debate with people, then I'm not even interesting in debating with you.
Hey, you PM'ed me because supposedly I "gave up" and didn't respond to your question.
And I have strong opinions that are hard to reign in sometimes. I apologize for offending you there.
