 There are times when I think the government has to go when I'm feeling frustrated with the way things are going. Rolling must be reading my mind.

:laugh2: I seriously doubt it.

I would agree to this, but I rarely see you do anything but harp on Obama and other democrats. When's the last time you criticized a conservative member of congress?

As an Independent, I have done that several times through AD.
I've stated on AD over and over, it is time to get rid of the Dem. party AND the Rep. party. Guessing you missed the "AND"

No, Independent (i.e. having a mind of your own)

:laugh2:

Yeah, there's a strong probability of getting an independent elected.:laugh2:

As it stands right now, a registered independent still has only a choice of 2 candidates when it comes down to the wire. I doubt seriously that is going to change before 2012.

What makes you think that the creation of a new party is going to do away with any of the problems with the current 2? It would still be a political party operating in a political system in this society.

Where?

You aren't talking about getting rid of the two parties we have. You are talking about adding a third.

No, as usual you are wrong. There have always been independants, just not an Independent party because that would impossible. I've always on AD said get rid of the Dem. and Reb. and everyone become an independent (i.e. use you own mind)

They would still only have Democrats and Republicans to vote for.:laugh2:

No parties = no platforms
Also no straight party voting
Also people will have to mark each choice, maybe then they will study the candidates, instead of just voting for all the jackasses.

What?

No parties=no platforms. My god, man, do you think?

how can you have an election without a platform and no parties? even if we vote for individual candidates, they will have a party from around each of them. It won't stay partyless for long.

Bingo. And even school kids running for class president have a platform.:laugh2:

Yes, Yes he does (but get a clue!) it is HIS OWN. They is no PARTY for him.
Students know what HE stands for and HE alone.

GET A CLUE: its a platform concerning whatever he thinks will get him the votes he needs.:laugh2:

Stands alone? I think not. There is an entire school system and administration behind him.:laugh2:

Before the vote....NO
After the vote (if he wins)...yes
Get a clue

Quite obviously you never ran nor were elected to student government.:laugh2:

And, quite obviously, you have no idea how Presidential campaign promises in the U.S. government are thwarted by Congress. You are being completely illogical here.

You could also say that Congressional campaign promises are being thwarted by Obama. :eek3:

Yeah, and I know a couple who would say just that.

A lot more than 2. More like 10,000,000 hard-line Conservatives. I am taking a wild guess. That number could easily be 3 times as many.
