Obama Offends Special Olympians about the bowling joke.

Just more of the real Obama coming out.. :roll: ...but all we will hear is "he mis-spoke" again.

The special olympians in my area are some of the hardest working athletes I know.

I can agree with you on that part; however, it would be more sensitive and better if he did not mention 'Special Olympians' in first place.
 
Maybe he will make up for it by becoming more involved when he hosts the Special Olympians at the White House.

Yes it would be a good sign. It would be nicer if he invites Kolan McConiughey, a mentally disabled bowler who hit a perfect 300 twice, to the White House.

an occasional blunder, ok, but during the campaign it was almost daily "the candidate mis-spoke" and since he has taken office he accepts no responsibility and counters alsmost everything he says and now he is "mis-speaking" again.

Yes it would be a good sign. It would be nicer if he invites Kolan McConiughey, a mentally disabled bowler who hit a perfect 300 twice, to the White House.

Now, that would be a photo opportunity no one would question or roll their eyes at.

I guess Obama isn't so busy with the nation's economic problems after all if he has time to go to California and appear on the Tonight show.
