Obama effigy hanged in Jimmy Carter's home town

Oh, not surprised and not cool either.
 
Boy this is really going overboard... I know lots of folks that hate Obama (including those of his own race) and they'd love to see him impeached as well as anyone else.
But to do THAT... in the SOUTH... umm... they're not helping racial relations.

Interesting to say, many big cities in south are more toward to democrats, also rural area or small cities has higher number of black people.

I live in south, in rural area with full of conservative whites area.

I love my life in south so political isn't concern and conservative people are very friendly to me.
 
I get so fed up with the racial bullshit it makes me sick. (that is assuming it was racially motivated... there is a chance that it was not)

It's about race.

Get over the fact that a black man is president.
 
I don't think it is about race. Hanging or burning in effigy happens. It was done with Bush as well. It's bad either way. There are much better ways to voice your disapproval. This makes our country look bad.

On a lighter note......A quote from the show Cheer's after some old Red Sox players realized that one of their teammates had slept with all of their wives

Guy from team: I say we take T-Bone's uniform and burn it in effigy!!!

Coach: I have a better idea. Let's burn it right here in Boston

Hate crime???....That's ridiculous. This is a person or group using their freedom of speech in a disgusting manner. That's it. It's the same as when people were burning and hanging Bush in effigy.

There have been other efigies made and hung. I believe Nancy Pelosi or Janet Reno were targets of this type of thing in the past.
 
There was something omninous about seeing that effigy being hanged. It almost looked like a real person. I am sure people walking by probably thought it was a real person at first. Not cool..
