Not Deaf enough??

In deaf chat-a column on cliques in deaf groups.
Some "insight"to the ongoing continuance of"reason proferred to restrict members "allowed"==deaf enough?

What is your plm with cultures deciding who is a member and who is not?
Do you believe that decision should be left to those not part of that culture?
 
Forunately in the real world I don't have deal with the "local deaf group-Toronto" as to whether my being DEAF fits with their "cultural suppositions"!

This computer comments" cliques" does "suggest" very different perceptions- how "friendly local deaf really are". As stated above-why bother?

Interacting to SOME comments here- easy to deal with..
