Not Again!

I like fruitcake just haven't eaten any in 2 years. The chocolate covered cherries are so darn sweet! Can't stomach but 1 or 2 of 'em.....
 
Friendship Cake

My landlady makes a light fruitcake called friendship cake. These are the best I have ever eaten so good. I think my landlady rocks. She is older and from Georgia with all the straight forward nice ways. She gave me Friendship Cake now she owns me... smiles

My hubby very happily ate all 5 of the fruitcakes he got for Christmas. That just left more homemade candy for me.
 
My niece made a ginger spice cake version of a fruitcake. It's amazing! I really hope she'll make it for New Year's
