Hey guys, I'm new here. I am a Psychology/Deaf Studies major. I want to go to Northeastern, in Boston, MA. However, they're double major is Psychology/ASL. I guess I'm trying to find out what the differences are between the Deaf Studies major and the ASL major? Also, does anyone here attend Northeastern, or live in Boston?

I'd suggest you get a copy of Notheastern's catalogue and compare the courses required for an ASL major with the courses required for your current Deaf Studies major. That will explain it to you.

I have a friend that work there. I am not sure but you can contact them and see what you can get your degree? Good luck!

Deaf Studies - You will learn the concept of the life in the deaf culture, social, business, and school.

ASL - a language to learn, would be recommended before taking deaf studies.

Thanks for all your help.
Does anyone here attend Northeastern, or live in the area?
