Just another case of people not wanting to believe the obvious because it disagrees with their stance. The truth is just too painful to some.

Honestly, I don't know if it is true or not (really, who does anyway nowadays?). But it is an interesting thing to think about. When you have such a horrible event like that, I'd imagine a great resistance to any investigation that would question the involvement of the government.

In fact, if I found out somehow that the government IS heavily involved, I'd think twice before coming out to public with it, just because it would completely and utterly destroy morale as well as trust in ANY government. It would be a huge blow to America.

Just to be clear, I am not really a "truther". I believe it is what it is, but I tend to think "what if?"...

What if the government had to blow up the towers because someone in one of the towers had info that the moon landing was faked on a sound stage and someone in the other knew who killed Kennedy and they were about to come forward????

When I play the "what if" game I go big. :lol:

If they were, pfft, we soooo would have done a hardcore investigation. In fact, Im surprised that we didn't do one! We have NO problem making the Chinese look bad.
 
On the other hand, why is it so hard to accept that a small band of Muslim extremists committed such heinous acts?

because this is too well-funded, too organized, too sophisticated to execute such heinous act. This reeks of government backing.

And that is not because the Muslims are inept. It is because they do not have the sophisticated resources available to them that are available in the U.S.
