No new IE for Mac. Yipe!

MS Mac Browser: Fuhgeddaboutit

SEATTLE -- Microsoft says it will no longer develop versions of its popular Web-browsing software for Apple Computer's Macintosh system, saying Apple's own browsing software is a logical choice for Mac users.

Except for two minor upgrades, Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5 is the last version it will develop for the Mac, said Jessica Sommers, product manager for the software company's Macintosh Business Unit.

It makes more sense for Mac users to use Apple's Safari Web-browser, she said Friday. Although still in beta testing, the browser has already gained attention for its speed and some of its features.

it's very good, it's simliar to Opera, only, it's far better than Opera.

Available only for Mac OS 10.2
 
I downloaded safari last week, and its not as good as opera or IE.

Safari is just another nutscrape.

Opera's scroll has slow down when try go up-down. :|
 
Uh?

It scrolled fast in Windows and Freebsd (yes I have a freebsd workstation with 333mhz and 64 mb ram).

Sounds like an Mac problem. :p
 
Ah that sucks, I tried Opera, it's not bad... but I perfer IE, most reliable and yes, it's another nutscrape for MAC but I'd pefer a MAC instead of a PC...

I wanna buy a MAC G4 or an Alienware computer soon

PC- Alienware, MAC- G4

Is that clear?
 
Safari isn't gonna do any well. I've already tried it and it keeps crashing on me. Blah!
