I am very happy today! This is my last day for driving my car. I finally stand up and told my parents I am not paying the insurance. I pay the insurance with my parents together that's why. What's other funny things is that at the same time, my work just got layoff. I am very happy! Now I save $250 a month, and I am very happy to stay home with SSI very peacefully.

Oh yeah and I am planning to sell my car for $$$$$$$$$$$ hehe!

Oh Congrats!!! and Happy Early Retire  you 19? ;) :):)

tsk tsk, You might make mistake because Living are very expensive. Living are not easy at all.

I'm puzzled. You are actually happy that you got laid off from work?

I wouldn't be happy if I lost my job, I wouldn't be able to pay my bills.

Who knows! Some people want to buy this and that, earn alot of money for future retirement, keep ourselves busy. While other people just don't demand for more while they want to live a simplier easy-going life. So it varies from person to person.

I do like a little complicated life make my life more interesting and enter into unexpected turns throughout the lives...

my grandmother cant drive because of strokes so her doctors wont let my grandmother let her drives but my grandma in nursing home now but she in wheelchair but im really hates to hear about her lots!

but my mom using my grandmother's cars now ever!

Puyo, I'm curious, that you give up to drive the car because the insurance are too high for ya? Male drivers at 16 to 25 for insurance are probably highest insurance to pay than female drivers (16 to 25). It's pain in the ass. Just 6 more years....so, my insurance rate can go down....a little bit. lol

I can live without a car and live with SSI and food stamps while I don't have to pay $250 every month for a car. I don't live in a apartment, I own a property, remmy that ;)

I am happy to get laid off because I don't have to drive 30 miles from Vancouver to Portland back and forth, I have alot of oddly wishes to reject my car, like my car get crashed badly so I don't have to drive it, or lost job so I don't have to drive, etc.

Yupp ur right, I want to live simple way, not the complication.

No. Not because of the insurance, I pay only $95 for insurance, but it was the gas that are very expensive. I pay $40 dollars every week for drive a car to work so 4 times 40 equal to $160 plus insurance $95 about $250.

Yeah, I am very against the insurance discrimination the role of gender. Oddly recently the study prove that female have possible to be in accident just like the males do.

Oh and I forgot, only 5 years left for me to be 25, I will be 20 on June 8 ;)

doesn't make any sense to me.. but i NEVER drove a car at all and I ride busess since i was 21.. so and guess what? I'm like 9 years older than you.. and my b-day is like a day after your b-day.. so have fun on your b-day. :)

We pay more insurance than you do, Puyopiyo. We pay $210 a month for 2 cars. Seattle metro area has one of the highest insurance rates due to high car theft and other reason why the insurance is high is due that she's under 25 years old, too. We pay way more gas , too. I commute about 24 miles round trip and she commutes about 40 miles round trip. I used to commute 60 miles round trip, similar to your commute that you had. It costs $50 to fill up the saturn wagon and $35 to fill the honda civic, blast those oil companies. I cannot use the bus service because there is no bus route at 2:30 AM going back home.

Yeah, that's why cars sucks, they ruin our transportation price, and ruin our transportation beyond the cars.
