No cussing club sounds stupid. Life would be boring if no one cussed at all. I like a colorful language. *shrugs*

Keep in mind, its a teenage boy who started this for a class project to make a difference. He didn't want to hear his fellow classmates curse and other teens were in agreement with him.

The teen didn't exactly walts in AD to stop everyone for profanity. I posted this article bec its news and information to share with others and how much publicity this teenager received even threats to his family over his campaign. I provided the link :)

Yup.

I don't think cussing is a bad thing. Even my grandmother cusses. It just makes our language even more colorful.
 
And I personally think there are WORSE things in this world than cussing.

Such as terrorism, suicide, war, bad economy, death, etc. When I consider all those things in this list, I consider cussing not that big of a deal. So what? I have more important things to worry about than a bad word. If I hear or see someone say "fuck!" I won't go "uh oh, somebody said a bad word, she/he will go to hell for it". That is so dumb. No one will go to hell for saying a bad word. So....so fuckin' what. :roll:

It's not like they would kill you or whatever...so yeah there are far more important things to worry about, as what is going on around us today, obviously.

mm touchy subject, i dont swear much until i lose my temper, one lady in the office at my old work clocked me using 23 swear words in less than 5 mins when i went mad at a colleague< yes she really counted them:shock:

havign said that, i never swear in front of my son or any of my family, so i obviously know it's not somethign I'm happy doing in front of them.

so if you cuss(swear) yet don't do it in front of your family and kids like I do, we are hypocrites, if you do, then you should be ashamed.

I remember one time when my son was 4, he was visiting my eldest sister, who had a foul mouthed guest, she was swearing like a trouper, before any of us could ask her to stop, my son toddled over, tugged on her skirt and said, excuse me lady, don't you know you're not supposed to swear in front of little boys...
the whole roon just erupted into laughter, she went bright red and left the premises.

It's really pitiful when even adults think using vulgar language is amusing or acceptable. Are people's vocabularies so limited that they can't express themselves without using profanity?

Ironically, the more profanity that is used during a conversation, the less interesting the conversation is.
