Hello,
I am not completely deaf, but have lost almost all hearing in my right ear (I have been diagnosed with severe vertigo and Meniere's disease. I have seen a specialist who recommended I have a Labrynthectomy. It has also been recommended that I am evaluated for BICROS hearing aids as I will lose complete hearing in my right ear (right now I have loud ringing in my ear and muffled sounds. I cannot hear what people are saying). I have some loss in my left ear and I wanted to ask those in this community if you might have any recommendations for excellent BICROS hearing aids. Also, I read where one person who has worn BICROS mentioned being in the process of changing to an implant behind the deaf ear. I am nervous to say the least, yet ready for this vertigo to be gone. Any thoughts would be most appreciated.
