New York City Exodus

My drive to work and back has no traffic jams. Heck, there's hardly any traffic over the 17 miles I drive to and back. I save more gas this way in my truck than those people driving to work in NYC with all the traffic jams, and stop and go traffic.

except people driving Prius.

While Cali is great sometimes, I'm looking forward to moving to Wisconsin or Boston... So sick of the heat here. :)

I did consider visiting NYC someday, just to get the experience aspect of being actually there.

Red state in East coast? That's a rare sight...maybe uh, South Carolina?
Jiro doesn't like beachy areas. :giggle:

Of course, he could live upstate, inland, in the rolling hills area.

but... one problem - what I don't like about the southern area as far as NC/SC/Georgia area... the humid is awful and it's too hot. just dang too hot. I prefer to live in mountain area but then... it has its drawback but tolerable enough for me.

ah. congestion and shit in the air. I don't want to breath fecal matter.

I like my 2+ acres as well. Don't want to live in condos/apartments/cookie cutter homes/or camden..

factual. worst part? There are probably at least 10 superfund sites around me :ugh:

sad. The drinking water is messed up in LA as well. raw sewage, medicines, etc..

The prices of homes in any of these places suck. not saying its impossible but they do suck.

Yeah I'll pass on NYC or LA for sure. I like ranch style homes with lots of space for kids and adults to play and work. ;)

Tell me about it...

As soon I am able to drive, I am going for the affordable cities that lay outside of the metro.
