HTC TyTN II/Kaiser coming to T-Mobile.

The FCC has revealed a version of the HTC Kaiser/TyTn II with 1700Mhz 3G access, making it one of the first smart devices to be compatible with T-Mobile’s emerging 3G network.

The device also includes a front facing camera for video calls, but it is unknown whether T-Mobile will support the functionality on its network according to UMTS spec or if it will offer a one way service similar to AT&T.

Yeah, we do, but they suck since whenever you sign, the video is slow and impossible to catch every fingerspelling letter nor it is expensive to use it. Some companies charges it on TOP of the monthly bills.
 
yea i do und that video call is pricey in your country. i wonder if any wireless carriers provide special plan for deaf subscribers, they wud discount on video call for deaf users, correct ?

i wonder about AT&T's plan in the future. i havent heard one word about video call from AT&T Mobililty. :( I dont understand why wireless carriers in other countries provide video call, not here in USA. AT&T provide video sharing only. ugh. not interested in that !

video calling is equal as voice minutes charge. I don't need video calling in mobile phone. but I want 3G or WiMAX USB adapter network for new MVP.

ah... well i do prefer video call feature on my mobile in my opinion. :)

I was told that HOVRS is working on a program in MVP that will be tethered to 3G mobile. i dont know when it ll be released. it sounds very potential !

Wow! That sounds awesome! I could make calls when I'm not in wi fi zone!
 
Dbarovian, thats right and deafclimber, nope... they dont give anything similar to what you do. They are stupid.
 
The processor speed on the TyTn II isn't really powerful enough to run 15-30 frames per second of 2-way video. It needs to be double the current 400mhz to be effective, at the cost of decreased battery life.

True, battery drain is losing in using video calls. not so worth. I will wait to get new MVP with 3G or WiMAX network adapter. MVP battery life is 1 1/2 hours. not so bad.
 
I am a fan of HTC phones. TyTN II used to be my top choice for the 3rd phone. My 1st phone- SK2 w/ green bumpers and 2nd one was SK3 regular. I eventually went for the iPhone. I like HTC because of Windows. I'm Windows user, not Mac. I like Apple products but not their OS. I wish windows has Apple's softwares like iLife 2008.
 
Didn't you know that the iPhone uses Apple Mac Leopard X OS in there?

I am well aware but it doesn't bother me because there won't be a mouse where I can't right-button. Just touchscreen. =D So I don't mind, it's like me being blinded and forgot that it is still in mac os.
