Good morning. I will be starting to learn ASL soon with a private instructor and would like to meet someone around my age to practice and talk with.

Hey Brett, I’m new here too and am currently studying to become an ASL interpreter. I’m 24 and I’d love to practice with you if you’re still looking for more practice.

Hey! Where in VA are you? Could always use another friend and someone to practice ASL with. In elementary school I learned some but it was pretty much just song lyrics at church while sitting in the Deaf section. I'm now trying to learn it all and teach it to my kids so they can communicate with me when they have to be quiet or if they feel uncomfortable.
