New shells

Hey all,I'm new here but have suffered from hearing loss since my teen years.I suffer from hereditary nerve deafness.It runs in the family on my fathers side.

Just recently my in the ear hearing aids crapped out on me,so I talked my brother into selling me his for $50.00 since he never wears them.They are very good aids.They are over the ear and are made by Bosch.

Anyhow,the shells don't fit ,so I had to go and get molds made for my ears.I went to a Miracle ear office to get fitted and ordered the shells.They charged me $90.00 per ear.So the shells cost me $180.00 in all.I thought that was a little steep for 2 pieces of plastic.Anyone else think this was to much?

thats not really that bad..i paid $80 for mine, soo n2b only a 10 dollar difference ..hope u like the bte...i love mine:)
 
Thanks for your help Lilitalia89,I feel a little better knowing I wasn't being overcharged.I love the OTE aids btw.They seem to be louder and clearer than my other ones.Thanks again for your help.:):):)
 
aww thats great u like them! they have more power too so if later on u need it thats good!!!
