My brother called from voice line to my P3 while I was out and was able to leave a message through text relay.

I wish that. But PurpleMail video answering machine for MVP and P3 only.

When you reinstall Windows XP using external cd/dvd drive, be sure to hit F12 button while booting up to enter drive option. Chose CD/DVD drive. It'll recognise and boot into Window XP restoration CD.. Once you reached Windows XP Licensing Agreement. F8 button won't work alone, Be sure you press and hold FN button then tap F8 to enter "Agree". It took me a while to figure it out while repairing two of my friend's P3 Netbook due to Trojan virus. I found out and got it fixed. It's different than regular PC or Laptop that you just tap F8 directly :giggle:

You can purchase an USB extension cable

Here one for 10 feet - HDMI Cable, Home Theater Accessories, HDMI Products, Cables, Adapters, Video/Audio Switch, Networking, USB, Firewire, Printer Toner, and more!

or 15 feet - HDMI Cable, Home Theater Accessories, HDMI Products, Cables, Adapters, Video/Audio Switch, Networking, USB, Firewire, Printer Toner, and more!

But more longer extension cable the weaker the light will be because voltage will drop on longer wire.

I don't know how long a cable before it weaken the light or LED if it uses LED.

That look so cool.

Depending on how the software was written, if they had already esblished a standard code for triggering light on USB then it possible but I don't know if it will work or not.

But it still look cooler than the plain flasher :D

I want to share something about relay service..

in past, I hate the blue blue blue background until somewhat...

P3 have improve software vision... I happen notice once it blurry and software adjust to clear up soon as possible not like VP200. I impress that one... Not just adjust the speed, just trigger to clear the blurry.

The blue background is no longer bother me... I don't know what they use camera as due new software improve or what? I am glad it not sore my eyes anymore...

Have anyone notice that?

Tell your hubby to use usb flash device to reformat the hard drive. It's pretty easy and quick than outdate cd/dvd drive.
 
yea I know that...but I wanted to watch movies or something... I am not gonna put junk on my computer.

Umm. We use laptops for six years and very rare to use dvd player to watch movie. We enjoy to watch on 42" LCD than tiny screens.

I use my laptop to watch movies as well. No reason to look down to these who do as well.

Speaking of which, I have a 52 inch plasma tv, one of the best out there and I don't use it.
