LOL, Oddball, don't worry. You can got iPhone on June 24. They can't find my order status for pre-order on June 24. I processed to pre-order it again yesterday afternoon. Do you got email confirmation and order number yet?
 
Yes, Chevy I do have email confirmation. I printed it out yesterday.

By the way, it may be good news for whoever bought a iphone 4 for a first time, you will get unlimited data plan if you get TAP. My friend recently called AT&T today regarding to TAP for her iphone 4 and was told she will get unlimited data plan once her iphone 4 gets activated (she already faxed her TAP to NCCD). :shock:

I keep my current unlimited data plan and current TAP plan.
I have receipt for new iPhone 4 and my rate plan is data at $30 and SMS at $20. no voice plan. I think not need to apply TAP plan for new iPhone 4 when it get activated.

Did you send TAP application form to NCCD for your iPhone 3GS before June 7?

New TAP Plan for new iphone customers - effecting on June 7

$35.00/mo 200 MB data (internet and email) and unlimited messaging
$45.00/mo 2 GB data(internet and email) and unlimited messaging
$65.00/mo 2 GB data(internet and email), unlimited messaging, and tethering

Yes I have to pay $147.13 for first bill, then $50 afterwards.

Well, according to my friend, she spoke with ATT representative about TAP plan for her iphone 4. She preordered it two days ago and she will get unlimited data after she faxed her TAP sheets. I will find out next week whether it is true or not. I find it so odd.

Next month, I will spoke with AT&T rep about data plan when bring iPhone and Apple product receipt for being activation
 
you get grandfathered in your old data plan.... so if you have been using the unlimited plan for a while, you're safe with it. It's for new customers that will get the capped data plan.

But most people do NOT go beyond 2GB a month. In fact, my iPhone went only 300MB over THREE months despite using the safari a lot. It may be different if you use a lot of videos but most deafies don't watch videos since most don't have captioning.

Right. But I am surprised that ATT representative told her that she will get unlimited data plan. I think representative may be clueless. But, like I said, I will find out next week though.

I have heard also that most don't even go over 200 mb each month so I think I will pick that one and if I should go over 200 in any month, they will add a charge of 10 bucks for that month.

Yes, I had paid data plan with voice plan for iPhone 3GS at first bill last year then adjusted credit pay in second bill after TAP plan. Tap plan was paid full in third bill.
