check out Apple's commercial.. it ends with deaf people signing - awesome!

Apple - iPhone 4 - One-tap video calling with FaceTime on iPhone 4

iPhone 4 first hands-on! (update: FaceTime video demo) -- Engadget

FaceTime app brings video calling to the iPhone. Unfortunately, it's WiFi-only. Steve says Apple needs to work with carriers to support it on 3G. The video call system is built on open standards like SIP, H.264, and AAC so it'll work with other video calling apps as well. I hope it would work with Fring (Skype) video calling app.

It a super awesome but somewhat concerned on the ATT data plan that kind of feature for Deaf to DEAF..

I believe VRS will rush to and grab that advantage of technology. I wouldn't be surprise if we will get that in few months later.

However if ATT doesn't have offer like their own ATT VRS relay offer for that due DATA issue; then I will give thumb down because 2GB, email, vrs and so on.

Again, it will change into our time and the voice plan will reduce big time due of Video Chat has big change for all of us include hearing.

Way to go Apple.

 @ new iPhone

I'm getting two iPhone 4g. I bury 3GS underground. I hire jiro as gravedigger, not surprise he carry my iPhone on the next day.

Why not have a fire sale and sell it for 49 bucks?

Damn, that's a high resolution for a phone.

iPhone 4 will likely work over cellular networks with future iOS updates - just not this year. Video streaming is extremely difficult over cellular networks.

No kidding! It's more than what our eyes can resolve at 12 inches distance!

So you get crisp text and images - it's just like looking at prints on paper.

From what I've seen, this appear to be quite a remarkable phone device. It's game over for the competitors if you ask me. With apps like iMovie and the fact it can record at 720p and 30fps... that is nothing to scoff at.

Yup because of high latency.

Meh for me, I am going to guess first versions of 4g will have knicks of their own that the latter 4g revisions will correct. Seems to happen to any phone that has newly acclaimed gizmo.

I'm definitely going to get myself the new iPhone later this month! Time to get rid of my ancient BB 8700g. Heh.

time for me to sell my iPhone 3Gs.

:io:
