yes, AT&T will be expired this summer. Verizon needs it. i think that would be 4th generation iPhone 4G or LTE next year???

Ahhh, alright. Thanks for helpin' me. Much appreciate! :hug: And, yes I will just find some movies that is closed captioned in iTunes. I don't expect ALL of them will have it. ;)

Foxrac didn't removed your posts... I removed it and for that, your posts weren't related to iphone as you went offtopic because you mentioned about the cellphone you use that isn't an iphone.

Cell Phones and Relay Telephone Services

I understand that you can do make (voice carry over) VCO calls with the iphone 3Gs without attaching it to a TTY. It is done through WebCapTel On the Go, or other Internet based Relay services such as Sprint IP, i711, Sorenson's Relay,etc.

Does the DROID by Motorola allow you to do VCO Relay calls without attaching to a TTY? If so, how does it work?

iPhone/iPod Touch Software 3.1.3 now out

Apple has upgraded the iPhone and iPod Touch software to version 3.1.3 which includes the following changes:

Improved accuracy of reported battery level on the iPhone 3GS
Resolves issue where third-party apps would not launch in some cases
Fixes a bug which may cause an app to crash when using the Japanese Kana keyboard.
The software update is compatible with all versions of the iPhone and iPod Touch and is available now through iTunes.

Warning! If you have jailbreaking iphone, DO NOT UPGRADE IT NOW!!!
 
I have iPhone 3G for a year and a half now - love it... Just couple of weeks ago I dunked my iPhone in my hot tea. :roll: I buried my iPhone in a bowl of cat liter to dry it out and it works fine, except for the camera. Argh! Would like a new iPhone when the next generation comes out.
 
OK, I scanned the thread up to page 24 and I haven't found an answer to what I am wondering. I am going to get a new phone. I have been using an HTC for a few years - it's ok but now broken. I thought I would get an iphone - but I understand it is not hearing aid compatible. I am disappointed - but wondering if anyone has bought one that they use for voice calls and how is the sound volume and clarity?

I was also thinking of the Blackberry Bold.

Anyone here have any experience of either of these?

Jailbreak will eat your time after there is upgrade iPhone OS everytime. Sheesh
 
I have locked iPhone OS 3.0 and BenM tethering. i consider that might get jackbreaking for my iphone but can't get upgrade version 3.1.3 because jailbreaking are currently not compatible with version 3.1.3. I wait until jailbreaking tools will work with it.
