New iPhone 4

My husband and I will get Iphone 3gs in Feb. I can't wait to get one. We went to AT&T and Best buy to play with Iphone for test. I love it!
 
It seems like Verizon Wireless might have a version of the iPhone for testing on its upcoming 4G network. Is the iPhone LTE on its way to the carrier for relase next year?

Verizon Wireless already said earlier this year that they see the Apple iPhone on their 4G network in 2010. A rumor about Verizon and Apple already testing a new iPhone on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network sneaked its way through the Motorala Droid coverage over the weekend. MacTouchUser points to a report on Fone Frenzy that says that Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam has been at the Apple headquarters several times and that indeed Apple is testing a CDMA iPhone on the Verizon 4G LTE network.
MacTouchUser also infers that Verizon and Apple are also testing the rumored Apple Tablet, because of an old BusinessWeek article.
In any case for Verizon it would be a great asset to be able to offer Apple devices, this would create an almost unbeatable offering in the United States. Verizon is said to have the best network and the Apple iPhone is considered by many the best smartphone.

Verizon Wireless will be the first carrier in the United States to roll out LTE (Long Term Evolution) based 4G network starting next year. LTE promises to be 10x faster than current 3G services, low latency (cool for multi-player gaming), enhanced security, world-wide roaming, and more. Verizon has setup an LTE innovation center here.

Just ordered Iphone 3GS 16GB...

What is your recommend me to buy something for my Iphone? what about skin cover to protect screen? what about case that protect my Iphone if I drop (god hope not!) it by accdient??

I m wondering when my contract w/ ATT is up, is it easy to transfer to Verizon ??

No because AT&T and Verzion use a different procotol.

AT&T uses GSM

and

Verzion uses CDMA



iPhone 3GS only work on GSM network.


If Verzion is allow to sell iPhone in future Apple will make and release a CDMA iPhone which will work on Verzion

Also Sprint is a CDMA network too so Verzion and Sprint can share same iPhone hardware when Apple release a CDMA iPhone

VZ's font is not match as iPhone.

39% of battery life but battery icon said "full" with recharger.

I know you own iPhone 3Gs; it use GSM technology network. That's mean VZ never will work with GSM's network.

I use Verizon logo to change the icon from AT&T. Only on Cydia. I change the skin yes. It's called themes.
