hi all,

I'm deaf and have been since birth. I wore hearing aids since about one and now have a CI (advance bionics, i got one of the recalled ones several years ago and it needed to be replaced inside of a year). Growing up, I was oral, but I learned ASL in college, and I do enjoy using it when I can, even though I do well with the implant.

I recently graduated with a degree in math, and a minor in actuarial studies and deaf studies.
 
:welcome: to AD. Grew up oral too and learned ASL later. Now, a full time ASL user.

hey i am new what do i do here or what is this for i am hard of hearing can anyone help me plz
