just found good site called pintrest shows you all things you can do with rubbish it amazing...going look at it tomorrow as it late for me now

What do you sit on when you eat , a couch? I have table in my kitchen , but I always sit on my couch as it closer to the TV. Marty like that too he can really get into my face to beg for food. He has me very well trained too. I end up giving him some food.
 
Very nice of him!! I had a friend that gave me furniture too. I appreciated it.

My sons don't even eat at the table. They eat on the couch so they can watch tv and eat. I told them maybe I ought to get rid of the table as a joke. I'd have more room in the house.
 
I saw this ad for furniture today, and I immediately thought, anyone could go to Goodwill or use one of their old pieces and do the same thing with paint and maybe new hardware. No need to spend big bucks.

Some of my favorite pieces of furniture and accessories are things that I re-purposed from old stuff. It's fun to customize things to my preferred colors and style. :)
 
We recently donated a whole room full of oak bedroom furniture to Goodwill. It was in prefect condition. We had to clear the room so my daughter could store all her stuff while in Ireland. I asked my kids and their friends and no one needed it. Too bad, it was nice stuff. I wonder how much Goodwill sells it for?

Be wary of Goodwill. I used to donate a lot of stuff to them until I found out that ZERO of the money they make goes to help people only goes back to Goodwill and their highly paid executives. Salvation Army or Habitat for Humanity resell shops are better to donate to.
 
That's very nice of Derek donated furnitures to you and hopefully you enjoy those furnitures.

You can sand it off and re-paint if you are interested. :)

I actually like the colors now, so I'll just leave it as is. However, I need to buy lots of DVD's for that rotating DVD self. :D
 
Wow, what did I do ? I may have a DVD or 2 to give away. I will look and save for later.
