NEVER EVER leave your kid.....

>>We all received spanked from them because my sister denied it's her.<<

It was your parents who deserved proper spanking for leaving you poor kids alone, bored, unatteneded. while they, oh they were having fun guzzling beer or whatever.. but sure, you were bad kids... NOT !!! grrrrrrr

My post was about the baby stolen with a running car but I seen on TV cases when the babies and even older children were stolen from a car. the abductors broke in and took the child, left the car.
The parenst returned and... :(
no amount of grief and sorry will bring back stolen child. hardly ever happens..

What if something like that happened to you? it could have .. thanks God it didn't..

Fuzzy

Ps - thanks for the link about the baby. it's not the same story, but.. similar, isn't it..

Yeah, I know what it is this... We do like this very often... :|

Of course I'm not an angel when I was a kid... :D

I had similar situation only mere 2 weeks ago....

but the twist is a puppy was involved... no drinking water the poor thing was panting like crazy so i saw part of the window open and i didnt give a fuck so i opened the door YES I DID i rather goto jail than see a puppy die....

So gave the poor thing water and the water bowl was gone in 3 seconds so kept on pouring water until the dog was satasifed. and got some dog food i managed to get, and he ate it just fine. (yes a boy puppy) so wrote a nasty note on thw window sheild took the dog with me and drove that puppy up to rainbow santcuary and notified the securty what i had done and told the cops.. they got a 250 bucks fine for leaving dogs in a hot weather in a car for more than 3 hrs how i know?? they were in the movies where i worked. I was RILED up...

So not just babies don't leave your animals in the car! if u need to go in town to do errands best yet leave ur pup at home let them damage shit there and not find it dead in a car.

You're correct Javapride, counting animals as well should not to be left in the car. I watched animal planet and I've seen some cases which animals been neglect in cars, with no water and food. I also have seen dogs being left in the car alone, It's like this why bring a dog along with you if you going to leave the dog in the car expertly when it's hot outside? Dogs have fur they get hot easier, and they can also die just like a baby would from heat stroke. :o

My hubby has learn his lesson first time.. I've warn him don't let Rogue stay in the car bit too long due not nice weather day.. When we went to the beach.. I kept paronid and panic worried sick hell lotsa about my precouisly Rogue..
Took 20 minutes swimming.. I told my children and my hubby, Has to go now.. They were not happy w/me.. and kept ingore me.. so I decide take walk back to my car... *spotted Rogue laid on the floor* I *banging* on the window.. but no respond.. I knew it.. I was so hysterically uncontrol... and ran to the beach and grabbed my car key.. My hubby spotted me... he knew something wrong.. and decide join w/me.. I rushed straight to my car and open the door.. I gave Rogue lot of water.. pour on her body 100% must COOL DOWN.... My hubby shock and saw me what am I doing w/Rogue..
He was kind scared and bent his knee down *say sorry really big time* I kept ignore my hubby for long hours.. I took focus on Rogue... I'm glad she is still alive... and already seen her tongue turns into purple.. Return our campsite... I refused talk w/my hubby for another long hours... I kept eye on Rogue no matter what... All I know British Bulldogs has short breath, beaks, chest broad and shorter.. isn't same type other dogs. So I kept giving her water every 10 minutes change water.. Rogue went back normal and wild play.. Finally I'm glad... and unexpected my hubby gave me YELLOW ROSES.. meaning he really deep apgolise me hell looks real seriouis.. I say okay and gave him hug.. Do not ever again let Rogue stay in the car, repeatly what I said to my hubby.

I hate seeing dogs stay in the car... made me goosebumps and paronid instant!
I cannot afford losing bulldogs which it's very expensive! *shivers*

I'm glad, take my dogs along w/us and goes to dog beach only... no more go normal beach.. All I want let my dogs have fun swim beach.. *chuckles*

Dogs as condiser part of children simlair.. as same CHILDREN!

That's horrible..

""""Heat stroke

Dogs are particularly prone to heat stroke because they rely on panting, instead of sweating, to cool down their body. Excessive panting can cause a series of metabolic disturbances that, if uncorrected, can lead to collapse, coma and death.

Dogs at risk

In hot weather, dogs can fall victim to heat stroke in a variety of situations and some dogs may be more susceptible because they have long or dark hair, which absorbs heat more easily. Breeds with short faces, such as the pug or Pekinese, obese dogs, and dogs with heart disease are also at greater risk. Dogs can get heat stroke after strenuous physical exercise, but the most common cause, by far, is leaving the dog in a stationary vehicle in the heat.

The car as an oven

Most people are unaware of just how quickly the temperature inside a car can rise in hot weather. The metal bodywork of the car heats up rapidly in the sun and acts like an oven. When closed, glass windows contribute to this heating effect in two ways: (1) they allow the heating rays of the sun to come into the car but not escape(the "greenhouse effect") and (2) they stop fresh air from circulating, which might otherwise help keep the temperature down.

Under hot and humid conditions, with the windows closed, the temperature inside a car parked in direct sunlight can rise by more than 1°C every minute. At this rate, the temperature inside the car can become intolerable for any animal within a matter of minutes. It may take a little longer for the car to heat up when there's cloud cover, if the car is parked in the shade and if the windows are left open. But in warm weather, the danger is always there. Even if the car is moving, it's essential that there be good air circulation--especially if the dog is confined to the back of a hatchback vehicle.

What to do in an emergency

A dog with heat stroke will be weak and panting heavily, or unconscious. The gums may also be dark red, and the dog will have a very high temperature. Finding a dog in this condition is an emergency situation that calls for veterinary attention right away. The immediate aim, however, is to reduce the dog's temperature as quickly as possible, using whatever means are at hand.

Hosing with cold water or immersing the dog in a cold-water bath can save his life. Failing that, ice packs or packs of frozen food can be applied, but first wrap them in a towel or cloth to protect the skin from cold burns. Prompt action in these first few minutes can mean the difference between life and death. But you need to transport the dog to your veterinary practice as soon as possible, so don't waste time by trying to tackle the problem yourself. You can apply cold packs during the journey to the vet's, but take care to avoid cooling the body too much. If in doubt, stop after 10 minutes of applying cold.""""

Don't count on these 10 minutes, though.. it may be still too long for a pet.

Leaving kids in car

i have experince on that one.... happened to me when i was little my dad went in papaws house for few mins and left keys in his 64 Fairlane and me and my bro decide to turn the engine on and turn the transmission and it slammed papaws garage door and literally damaged the garage door and the car.. so now my dad learned his LESSON and me 2 i never leave keys in my Thunderbird bec i know my baby son know how to turn a key on etc also seen my friends kids do that and damaged 2 Cars older daughter turn key on a 73 Thunderbird and slammed on post office boxes and baby daughter turns key on 88 Oldsmobile and backed up on a church van... so other reason i dont leave keys in car with kids

I could never imagine doing that. At my little girls school there are some parents that leave their toddlers alone in the car while they go in to get their other children. One day I walked in and said in a real loud voice someone left their children in the car and they need to check on them. These kids were not even buckled in. What if they knocked it out of gear or something. Plus, do any of you remember the convicts that escaped from that prison awhile back and one was caught in southeast missouri? Well, where he was caught is just down the road from this school and he was looking for another car to steal. What if he had taken off with their kids? I cannot believe people do that. It's just too big of a chance.
