My English teacher wants me to enter a poetry contest. It is a requirement for the poetry unit in my cyber school's 10th grade English class this semester. I've entered contests before for school, and I have been published in books. I'm not sure if I will enter a poem that I have recently written (I've written hundreds of poems), or if I'll write a new one for this contest. I have a few that I really like, and that I might consider entering, but I'm not sure.
But, I'm stuck on ideas for a poem! I need some creative suggestions - something to get the creative juices flowing The poem can be on any topic except no pro-violence, pro-drugs, or pro-war, or stuff like that.
Any ideas?
