Need to practice and learn ASL as fast as possible for my daughter

Hello. I know some basic ASL but my daughter's progressive hearing loss has created the need to learn it much faster now. Anyone willing to chat with me? I think I'll learn better with authentic conversations than repeating videos. How important is the region, by the way? I've been told signs can be different up north than down south here in Texas...

I know this is not what you are asking, yet I think your daughter will be appreciative of your intent and willing to help you to a degree. Spending more time chatting, whether by video or in person, might help the closeness of your relationship. I hope so.

many cities have deaf coffee chats. Find a deaf person to sign with you daily for 1-2 hours.
