Have any of you experienced with going through with a natural disaster?
If so, post here which natural disasters you have been through.

Natural disasters I have been through were:
1. Category 3 hurricane (Gilbert in 1988)
2. Category 5 hurricane and sea flooding (Ivan in 2004)
3. 6.8 earthquake
4. Several tropical storms

Wrong. Hurricane Hugo is cat 5.

Just same with 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake in SF, rest of bay area.

Several snow storms
maybe 2 or 3 Hurricanes (I am not good with the names. I forgot what year.)

That was it!

I have been thru...

a few snowstorms in Utah and Seattle area-especially the thunder-snow which there's lightning flashing with heavy snow falling.

icestorm in Seattle and Utah, a slippery mess!

severe thunderstorms in California. Utah has the nasty ones during summer months. Had a nice lightning show during dusk here in Seattle few summers ago.

bad flooding in California, Utah and here in Seattle. The flooding in 1986 was a bad one there in California, we were lucky our home didn't get flooded

earthquakes the 4.0, 7.1 in the SF bay area in '89, 6.8 in Seattle in '01, 3 something.

windstorms with winds going to 60-70 mph in Seattle area and in Utah during a thunderstorm micro-burst.

a few cheap hailstorms in Seattle area, Utah and California.

I love wild weather! :D I haven't seen a tornado in real life, though.

-- few snow storms

-- Thunderstorms

-- Freezing bbrrrrhhh bbrrrhhh

-- Hail

-- Windstrom

-- Ice on every roads/street after heavy rain during freezing weather... The people hard to walk or drive...(horrible one) - the children are happy and love to play outside when there're ice... (You know what kids is)...

ice storm of 1997 (or was it 98 qq)
a few hurricanes
a tornado
high winds
hail
thunderstorms (both mild and severe storms)
snow blizzards

all when i was still living in the DC metro area

Hmmm...
Blizarrds
Ice Storms
Recent hurricanes since moving to Fl
Lightning Storms

Been through a few:

Blizzards and serious snow storms
Hurricanes: Worst one was probably Hurricane Isabel
Lots of serious thunderstorms where trees and powerlines came down.
Got struck by lightning once during an outing in Virginia out in the middle of a state park.
Never been in the direct path of a Tornado but have been in the area when they've passed through. Only got to see one that was kind of far away. I couldn't make out the debris I saw at first and then realized it was plywood sheets flying around.

Hurricane Hugo was a cat 5 when it first formed in the Caribbean but it downgraded to a cat 4 when it made a landfall in South Carolina where I think Reba is in.
