Gee, I also had a deviated septum and nasal polyps about 7 years ago. My deviated septum surgery was very successful. Actually, it was bleeding a lot. It doesn't hurt my nasal so far I remember. My polyps grow back in one year which disappointed me. You could try to get another surgery as long as you have a different doctor. Why? It's because the first doctor failed it which means that the doctor does not do a good job. Believe me. My doctor was very poor job. He quit his job in two months later because of me

, and he became a teacher to teach med students at a college. I bet that med students didn't know that he is a lousy doctor. I do not feel sorry for him because he didn't finish the job. I feel that I paid him for nothing.
I researched a lot about polyps and patients. Very rare patients do not get polyps back - say about 3 percents in the United States (Year of 2000). I met a man who had the polyps from his surgery, and his polyps never grow back. I was upset that I should have asked him who was his doctor and where did he went to the hospital. These questions were very important, but it was too late for me because I met him at a banquet.
I am using a QVAR nasal spray 40 mcg for once a while which seems working, but not perfect. Remember, after the surgery like 8 months later, you should start thinking about getting a good nose spray because this will definitely help you shrink your polyps so that they will not grow bigger. My new allergy doctor made his own nasal spray to install the inhaler which is very nice. He cut a small tube bottle in half and install it in the inhaler's plastic part. He is a great that he helps his patients with his own ways.
At last, Neti Pot (or other brands) helps to clear out the germs in your nasal. This is important to eliminate your bacteria with this treatment. You could use it everyday if you want to. Otherwise, you could get an infection in your heart from your sinus infection. I am tired of explaining to some people, and they nodded it, and then they never do it. They rather to see a doctor and do the surgery. They have to start all over for another surgery - going on and going on. Nothing is changed. This is very cruel that we have nasal polyps, and there is no cure for it. I am sorry to make you feel down about it.
