Hello to all.
My name is Ralph, 47 yrs old and I'm currently in Chattanooga, TN. I am severely HH but fluent in ASL as my parents are totally deaf and deaf-school grads from their respective states. I grew up CODA but began gradually losing my own hearing by the time I was 15. I've attended Gallaudet College (now University) during 1988-1989.
Lived in several states before settling long term in Dallas then moving to Utah where I met my current gf and now live in TN caring & providing assistance to my parents.
I work as a tour-guide for Ruby Falls Cave (I use hearing aids to allow me to understand and speak effectively to do my job) and have worked there for over 7 months. I provide signing tours for all deaf groups.
My hobbies include caving (click on signature), martial arts, movies, pouncing, drawing, reading and music.
I've been clean and sober from drugs and alcohol for 20+ years.
I look forward to sharing more here on this forum. Looks like an active & fun group/board.

(tried making my signature to work... anyway it's a link to my personal photo site... http://ralph.rigidtech.com

Oh yeah, and the best places are those little "hole in the wall" type places and not the big name BBQ... and here in Chattanooga there are quite a few of them to choose from. :D :D

Oh yeah! I was in Memphis in early May, and we didn't even bother with Beal St. Went to Central BBQ. Best ribs ever.

Of course, the best BBQ is always the stuff you make yourself. Hmm, think I'm going to fire up the smoker for some St. Louis spares tomorrow...
