My thoughts on audi visit/ASL

no, I like to see the differences, too, Jenny

Yes, in Canada we call it pop. I'm a linguistics student and know what soda is...it is just fun to point out lexical variation in one language. Maybe just for me...

No I think it is fun too. Sorry for dogmom we turned her thread into the latest soda pop sensation!!

ahh, don't worry about it
"Sky" "Jarritos" ? :hmm:
I know sometimes people used to do "sodypop" in movies

Sky and Jarrito's are brands of soda/pop I used to buy all the time in Jaurez, Mexico when we lived in El Paso.

THere were great prices in Mexico.

So I wondered if they did not have those brand in Peru too.

My husband just pointed out yesterday that one kind of my favorite Mexican cookies just made it to Iowa. I was pretty excited.

No, we don't, Botts. We have Coke (which is Coca Cola here), we have Fanta, Sprite, Seven Up... and weird brands like Triple Cola, Perú Cola :)giggle:), Big Cola... Yeah, they aren't too creative with brand names :P

Prices here are great, with one dollar you can buy a big Coke for all your family =P

I thought Inca Cola is bigger than Coca Cola in Peru?

One of the few local brands that out-rank Pepsi or Coca Cola... alongside Irn Bru in Scotland and so on.

I forgot about Inca Cola and Pepsi!

Inca Cola is yellow, if you want to eat sea food... you have to drink Inca Cola, it's like a rule! =P and Perú Cola is black... it's like Coke but cheaper.

Kristina, Inca Cola was a good brand in Peru, it was a peruvian company, but then... they sold their company to Chile... and we don't have a good relationship with them :( Now some people hate Inca Cola
