Your children knows that you love and care about them very much.

It makes me goosebump about T-shirt with verse on it!!! It is so miracle! Ur son is very lucky to wear that t-shirt so bullet was not thru skin!

I wonder...what if he wear different t-shirt without verse or about Jesus, will bullet go thru skin?

I am trying hard to be good mommy.. but you cant prevent many things will happen to the kids.. I dont have more than 2 arms or .. more than 2 eyes.. to look over.. only your words to teach the kids... to listen.. if they dont listen.. they will regret it.. and will say. i am sorry mom for not listen or.. i am sorry mom and you are right..

just praying everyday for kids' safety.. and thank HIM for everything that he give us daily... food, under roof, kids' health, remind them that HE is still love them.. also thank HIM for family and friends too..

:jaw: ***speechless*** It's scary story, I ever read here.

It look like that your son have Angel protection. It's a mircale.

I'm really really glad that he's okay. Yes, I can image that it's nightmare for you to learn that your son were shot. I hate that guns.

Yes, I am agree with some of you that boys could be stubborn. Refuse to listen their parents sometimes. See now Danny want to wear helmet after an operation. This condition wake him up. I bet your son will do the same and will NEVER touch gun again after happend to him.

I'm surprised that firemen have guns because we didn't see firemen have it in Germany. Why firemen need gun for?

Yes, I know how you feeling because I had the same feeling as you when I learn about my son's accident of last Friday. Terrible....

True...

The children always have accidents. It's impossible for the parents to watch them for 24 hours.

Yeah, Police charged the dad (firefighter) $150 and took 2 guns... air bb gun and pellet gun..

couple days ago, his dad and i met in the driveway, he said, i let you know that we are not mad but its been very busy with fires lately.. I said me too.. I just.. want to make sure we are not enemy neighbors just because of that accident.. he said no.. then he told me that he got ticket... charged $150.. I said WHAT? for ? he said.. 100 for unsupervised around the weapons and home alone.. I didnt know that his son was home alone.. $50 for careless.. i didnt catch what he really meant.... but thats really surprised that police didnt charged Mack... cuz he was the one played with guns with the next boy.. but I said to his dad.. I dont get ticket.. i feel its not fair.. he said dont worry.. :-/

interesting.. i dont want Mack gets away but he was grounded for 2 weeks.. hard working chores.. cuz he didnt follow our rules that he should know better that he shouldnt be around the guns...
:)

Yes, a father is responsibly for cause the accident because he did not take care of his weapons safety around in the house, not your son.

Yes, I know that boys could be stubborn when they try something out of curious then satasify themselves. It shows lesson to not touch guns ever again because they are dangerous.

As much as I sympathize with you MsGiglz and your boy, let me say something different here because everything else has been said: I grew up in Minnesota with guns, hunting, etc, etc, perhaps this incident with a low-power firearm just might be a blessing in disguise in that he has learned something and will be the wiser for it. The best to you and your family!

yeah.. nothing surprised about this.... i got almost similar thing like this before.. but it hit my leg... and my friend's head :-/

always have parents supervised while using paintball, pellet, soft pellet, any any kind of gun even toy guns....

soft pellet can be dangerous too.. can choke u if it went in ur mouth, can go blind if hit ur eyes... the popping gun can hurt ur ears, eyes, inhaling...

any guns are dangerous..

MsGiglz,

I am sorry that your son got hurt. I am glad that his injuries were not worse, and that he will be fine. I am praying that he will have a quick and full recovery.

I don't think she meant the fireman had guns for the reason of being a fireman. The man had guns just because he wanted to have guns, and he had the right to have guns as a citizen. It just happened that his occupation is fireman. In the United States, people of all kinds of occupations can have guns.

Your son is going to be a strong guy. I've had many brushes with death as a youth from snake bites, cliff falls, BB shots in the torso, and 2 open heart operations. Being able to survive these things is a divine message your son has an important mission on this planet and he will not die until after he finishes it. He is going to have a lot of respect for being able to shove the grim reaper out of his way. Fear not, your son is going to be very important to the society.

It's my belief that people who beat the grim reaper are a special caste and deserve a lot of respect.

Richard

MsGiglz,

I'm glad your son deserved learn his lesson and next time do not allowed play w/guns. Least your friend's son pretty much alive..

Yes, I know abou the states are allowed using gun but Adult must have BIG RESPONBILE FOR GUN SAFETY lock up! I've seen 911 tv showing from the past years ago. Pretty scary quite lotsa.

In Canada' law not allowed gun.. Must registered by police local area "use firearms license permit only" Must use lock high security cabinet requires. Pretty quite strict law here.. I hope one day USA would like simlair alike Canada system about firearms.
