Luckystar , don't take this the wrong way....

How would you react if you thought you were talking to a woman then discuss women's stuff then online all of a sudden you find that person is a man you would go :barf: That would be your natural reaction right?

It is the same things with guys when they find out the guy they have been talking to online is actually a woman then they get :ugh: :eek2: shocked then they say okay and move on. Ya know? That is the natural reaction.

Hope this helps....

You are INCREDIBLY STUPID to believe that a certain breed don't attack. All dogs are capable of attacking, period.

Do you know that the Pomeranian dogs are capable of killing infants and toddlers? That breed is tinier than a Schnauzer.

Yes, that's right. It has happened before. Most dog attacks are committed onto the CHILDREN, not adults. Just look it up.

The only good type of a dog is a well-trained one, regardless of what breed it is. I have a purebred Yellow Labrador Retriever and a Yellow Labrador Retriever-German Shepherd cross. They are both great dogs because they were given a lot of love and good training unlikely many dogs today.

By the way, German Shepherd... they were once the target aimed at by the media like Pit bulls are now. It's all media hype, period. The same thing happened to dobermans and rottweilers in the past 3 decades.

Next thing you know, it'll be another breed they'll be targeting which will happen anyway. It's a common tactic used by the media, try to use your noodles for god's sake.

Being a sheep isn't going to solve any problems. It just shows that you take everything the news tell you at face value.

Banjo , I agree Right on.

I've met Luckystar's pitbull dog when we were visiting her in Iowa, her pitbull didn't attack any of my children even though my little one was only 5 at that time....I must admit I am scare of pitbulls and yes I got a bit nervous when I first saw her dog, but she is really sweet dog, It's depending how the dog is treat, and Luckystar treat her dog like her own child, so that may be why her dog is really friendly around children....

Okay I believe you ...It seems gangster's clothes are popular with high school teenagers. In the real world gangster's clothes do not work at all and actually work against them in the workplace or professional business office. The dress code does really affect a person and the chances of employment success. The another thing is I think she would look awesome in flowing lady's clothes for at church or or a business professional ladie's suit at the office. I am shocked to see that I am talking to a girl here. Hopefully she will outgrow those clothes and be the beautiful woman that she can be with really good women's clothes that signify respect and diginity. God Bless her and her family.

I forgot you and your kids met tequila. It is true I treat him like my kid. He is my kid, I love him just like I would a kid. He loves everyone....well almost everyone, there was one girl who came to my house and tequila wouldnt even let her in the front door, stood there growling at her....oh by the way thanks for the pic angel

Ahh...my hat's off to you ^Angel^ for putting up a pix of my daughter~luckystar and thanks hon--

Luckystar's dog is sure one heckuva big dog, but downright very friendly, like she mentioned, her dog's looking for attention and to play. A dog that size, y'all can forget about having nice knickknacks on end tables, coffee tables, etc.,...with a tail swinging about once excited and happy...

OPPS Wrong thread lol! You guys talk about Pitt pull...duh me! I wanted Boston terrier :) MY bf would love to have another pittbull but I am not really 100% sure.

im not in high school....i am 21 years old....and i am not wearing "gangster" clothes.....i am wearing a t-shirt....a lot of people wear t-shirts....but whatever

Roadrunner and Luckystar, When people visit my family and relatives and see the pitbulls. They are shocked and confused and can not understand how friendly a pitbull can be. This really opens their eyes. Always show your pitbull in a positive light and the book I recommended is a pitbull handbook which is extremely well written. I am sure you will add the pitbull handbook to your library as I have mine. God Bless....

LOL........Im a women............. :dance2:

i'm a woman too, i think this whole thing on pitbulls is ridiculous. Any breed can be mean. i understand if your child/dog was attacked by a pitbull ,but you should also understand not all pitbulls are like that. They're are sick people out there who favor pitbulls because their fighting dogs and they train them to fight. and you know what they use ,puppy pitbulls they chain them up against something and let the other pitbull attack it to build up confidence. at least thats what i saw on animal planet.

doffusmomma

i don't know if that pitbull belonged to a nieghbor or if it just came into your yard and attacked your dog. But that pitbull could have belonged to dog fighting trainers and it just escaped from its owner(s).

Like i said i have a boxer ,but shes pretty small for a boxer and people mistake her for a pitbull all the time. They always ask me if shes a pitbull with worried look on their face. I tell them no shes a boxer and then they're like oh ok and then they pet her. :squint: which i don't understand because boxers have dog fighting in their blood thats why their called boxers if you notice they way jump up or play fight it looks like their boxing.

I am not trying to scare people away but this is what happens when dogs gone bad, Pitbulls and Rottwelers have higher cases of attacks than most other dogs. That's why I think it's important to keep all dogs on leash and on their own property for the safely of everyone. ;)[/QUOTE]

Ignorance is bliss....Actually in a study of 100 different breeds that were most likely to bite pitbulls were 96th on that list, and in relation to all dog bites that happen pitbulls only account for 1.89%....so whatever your seeing on tv is bull. People love to blame others and we love to hate as human society, just like what first happened with afhanistan, just because there were some muslim terrorists people automatically judge the whole muslim race to be terrorists. Its not right to judge a book by its cover and if all you see on the news is that someone else has been attacked by a pitbull, then sure you have that option to believe that all pitbulls are bad and they're vicious, but ignorance will get you no where.

Congrats MikeB!

Most important is you must be a very responsible owner of your baby. Give alot of love, cuddly, kissing (licking) etc ... Always supervise the pup when the kids and small animals are around. I dont support an irresponsible owner who want to purchase the pitbull dog. Or train the dog to fight!

Way to go!

Diane
