...are virtual (you all). I wish I had deaf friends in the flesh. Down here in Miami there seems to be few (if any- maybe they're hiding). Grrr.

I need to learn (practice) with the Deaf.

I am NOT a frequent flyer. Besides, who is going to take care of Georgie?
 
No but for real- how do go about joinng the Deaf community in my community? I am at that point in my learning (ASL) that I need to associate with deaf and HOH in order to keep progressing. Thank you for your input.

One option might be to check and see if there is a Deaf Club and contact them. if you are unable to find it, then try calling Vocational Rehab. They might be able to point you into right directions in finding where Deaf meet and practice sign language.
