My Mac was stolen this morning and I feel like kicking myself.

It's a very popular online game. My fiance plays WOW all the time. You can make characters and play them, fight enemies, etc. I don't know about selling them on ebay or sharing them, though. I don't know too much about WOW cause I can't play that game...video games and computer games give me vertigo due to the 3D graphics, and I don't know why. Oh well.

Thanks for your reply, Lucia. :)

WoW sounds addicting. :giggle:

Off-topic...

It sucks that you get vertigo from playing video and computer games. Are there any meds that can help reduce the symptoms of vertigo?

I have meniere's, and my doctor has offered me several prescriptions, but I've yet to be in any danger of losing my lunch, so I prefer to avoid filling my blood stream with chemicals as long as I'm able to live with it without diminishing my appetite.

Here are tips to protect laptop from being stole.

TuxMobil: Theft & Loss Protection for Laptops, Notebooks, PDAs with Linux

I already put my Mac Address, both cat5 and airport, since these wouldn't change anything but able to track once someone tried to connect internet. Plus, I install LogMeIn which will auto open every time it log in while connect ISP. I can check ip-address where it being location at. Have the ip-address handle to police or whom can track and bust em.

I can understand that SimplyMints.

I experience severe dizziness and nausea whenever I turn my head from side to side. (This started after my first CI surgery.)

Like you, I've learned to live with it and don't take any meds for it.

However, I have other medical conditions that require me to take meds, but I do not take any more than is absolutely necessary.

I remember reading an article about this guy whose Mac was stolen. Luckily, he had his webcam set up to automatically save and upload every picture to his Flickr account.

One day, he signed on to his Flickr account and found a bunch of pictures of strangers in his photo gallery. BUSTED! ;)

Ok, guys here's an update: I'm with my parents right now and I'll be moving into a new apt later this month and I get my new PC this wenesday. My parents' PC was broke so I had no access to the internet for a week. I will be getting a new PC this Wednesday.

One day I will have a Mac again but in the meantime PCs aren't too bad. I will have to get a webcam for both pc and Macs in case this happens again. I had to report this case to the cops twice because the first cop didn't seem to take me seriously and thought I must have given my key away to someone else. (I lost my 1st set of keys a week before the theft and I'm certain the thief found my key cuz both doors were locked the second time.) I didn't give them away to anyone else. I'd *never* do such a thing so a friend and I had to call the cops again and get this straightened out so insurance would pay for both my PC and my Mac.

I'm glad my WoW chars are safe and they don't appear to have the items stolen. I play too much WoW though. :P
