My long time friend passed away

A church member of my grandma's that I had known since I was a little girl has passed away. She was battling Cancer to her liver for longer than the doctors thought she would live and also a few days before she passed she broke her arm. She had surgery to pin her arm in place in the bones, but she went downhill after that and was told had 1 or 2 days to live. Her name was Janice Dayton. She passed away at age of 79. Her funeral is march 17th and I am unable to attend. She passed march 7th!! It was so sad because I was in bed recovering that day still from my surgery when she passed.

I knew her very well!!

I'm so sorry that you lost your friend. :( I know this is an especially difficult time for you because of your own medical problems.

I will pray comfort and strength for you. :hug:
 
Aww im sorry to hear that! You have my condolences and my
prayers! God rest her soul and happy in Heaven now!
 
I remember when my friend was killed in a drive-by shooting. I hadn't seen him in a few years and I was surprised to read about it in a local newspaper. :(
