My damaged car (accident)

The video of the fiesta is the old vesion. My father who works for A N C A P who checks out these car crashes and gives the rating of the safetly rate... for the 2009, is 5 star rating.

now you know why your dad knows better than you in dealing with this kind of crash. That's why you should listen to your dad. If he says not to drive it or whatsoever, then he is right. He has years of experience in this related matter that you do not have.

5-stars rating means nothing to me. Nothing beats the law of physics. Every country's rating system is different. Obviously - German's crash rating system has obviously a higher standard than America and probably Australia as well.

while the above video is the 4-door version.... the crash performance is nearly similar as 2-doors version. You can get some idea though. I still do not want to be in ANY small car when it comes to crash.... not even mini cooper. I may live but I will sustain a serious injury - a very common incidents in small-car accidents.

This is the same car I will get - the same look, same model, same color, same wheels - minus the plates :P

I never buy sub-compact cars in many times but I drove my parents' VW Rabbit and friend's VW Bug. I dislike them because ride is fair and uncomfortable. I always favor heavier weight and stronger vehicle as mid-car.

JClarke, I like this color. You should pay for deposit now. Less than $500 US ($600 AU) I m afraid that someone will take it at last.

Dont worry, I can order ;)

I like 2009 Holden Cruze. What price?

Try pushing it to 200k miles and call me back. :P Your Fiesta didn't even have over 100k miles on it. You said 144k kilometers on it last time, didn't you?

I wouldn't ride with deaf in their crap Import car. Most time it end broke before it ever reach 120,000k miles because they forgot about timing belt.

I have geo chevy and Ford trucks they never have problem and I beat them HARD by tow 10,000 pounds trailers. And rev to high rpm plus drive fast in reverse.

That Ford Zetec look cool. Should get 35 mpg easy.

Before you say that not safety car?

Why not look at Geo Metro see how tiny it is. Most time people don't get lucky after they got in accident in metro.

in America... small car + small tires + short car =

Sad... but sorta true. In Colorado, I was fine with my Honda Civic coupe. Then, I moved to Texas where it seems like everyone has a giant car. I began getting cut off, nearly sideswiped by a truck merging in (who couldn't see me very well, according to them). My Honda Civic car horn got exercised quite often. Then, for safety's sake, I decided to trade it in and get an Outback. Since then, I've not been merged into nearly as often. Just only the other day (yesterday) was the first time in 4 years that I had a close call when a big giant Suburban decided to merge into my lane while I was still in it!

Still, only once in 4 years isn't bad.

Yup, I was yawn at his comment.

American car rocks for SUV and truck only, some of sport cars like Mustang.

Foreign cars are best for economy or regular car.
