That's if you still work at your job for the next 5 years....

I wonder what's the law in australia for driving without car insurance as of course it's illegal to drive without car insurance here in the US and they will give you a huge fine for that and possiblity revoke your license for a few months, I think.

You can drive without car insurance in wisconsin. It's full legal. Ofc i still have car insurance with me when I drove to over wisconsin.

I hate the way it sticks to your skin and leather gets very hot when under sun. and it's not easy to clean it if you spill some shit on it.

leather seats = EPIC FAIL!

Agreed with you. Fuck leather seats! It make me sweat so easy at long trip. Damn company cars.

Yeah, drove similar to this one --

This is sexy!

My job is permanent.

Well....you NEVER know when you get laid off or fired for any reason...who's going to pay for the high car loan? GAP coverage? Does it come with that sort of thing to cover it when ur out of job.

government job tends to be stable and secured. that's the perk of government job in here as well. the only drawback is.... it's kinda inflexible for my taste (the minimum hours per week must be met) and the pay is not SO great compared to what you can earn at private sector for same job.

Oh, he works at a government job? I guess that's fine, then.

I am so glad you are OK in one piece, JClarke!!!

If I move to Wisconsin, I would save $100 to 150 a month from having no car insurance

:P

I have good news, I have spoken with my bank in regards of the loan, it is what I expected, the repayments over 5 year period is a good $431 monthly ($216 biweekly, $108 weekly) and add to the monthly repayment say, estimate of $150 a month for the insurance cost. _-- Now, we have a solution! :cool2:

Whew! That's a big relief for you! A least that you will drive again. Maybe, install a steel rear bumper bar for your car? It might reduce the cost for your insurance - I am not sure. For example, VW Caddy Van Accessories Rear Bars Bumper Protectors Chrome Trim at Vanstyle.co.uk Nottingham

What are you going to do if somebody tries talk to you while driving?
I will tell my friend to hush up and it can wait. I have ONE RULE now, no talking when I am DRIVING.

and guess what? I AM BUYING A NEW CAR AFTER ALL!

I do not allow food in car either. eating while driving is just plain damn stupid. :mad2: and plus - it's messy. I don't like it when passengers eat in my car.

I do allow it under extenuating circumstance.
