my CI progress

Well, it doesn't matter how old you are, or how far you are from your mum.... they STILL worry!

Tell me about it! I thought my mom would outgrow this, but I'm 26 and it looks like it's not happening anytime soon! Just to give a little indication of how she is:
"Hey mom, I'm gonna do Habitat for Humanity this Saturday."
"Oh god.. is it in a bad neighborhood? Are you going with someone? Don't stray off alone! Please be careful. Look both ways before you cross the street and if someone tries to do something to you, kick him in the you know where."

And the sad part? I'm not even exaggerating.

I would have loved to have parents who cared and acted like your mother.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate my mom very much, beyond words. I just hoped that her "motherly advice" would at least change over the years from when I was 12..... Also, she has high blood pressure, so I feel like she literally worries herself sick over trivial issues.

Ok, my mom's okay with my May 5 plan. Whew! I sent her a private message on facebook since I'm at work and I was already on facebook.. haha. Explained my reasonings and thoughts and everything, and she's fine with it. WHEW again.

Wait until you guys have kids...then you'll look back and say, "damn, i'm just like my mother. " :)
