As far as I can see, MVP 1 requires:
TCP/UDP 22001
TCP/UDP 8100-8150

But I am unable to call out - any number I call gets directed to PurpleMail system.

I've had a friend try to call me, but she also gets to PurpleMail even when I'm waiting to receive the call.

When I try to call Purple's Tech Support, I only get a black screen.

I'd appreciate any information for the MVP's port forwarding, thanks.

Do you have a Sorenson vp at your house? If yes, I may think that this is where it causes the problem.

I have both MVP and ZVRS T-150 - no problem. I disconnected my Sorenson and put it away for now.

B.S. Does not make a difference.

MVP uses
22001, 8100-8150 TCP
8100-8150 UDP

VP-200 uses
1720, 15328-15348 TCP
15328-15348 UDP

I have seen several people who still have MVP and there is no conflict with Sorenson, ports are different and separated.

WHAT?! NNNOOOOOOOOO... no need to put away vp200.

You just need to setup port forward for EACH device. vp200 by default uses 1720 for ring among other ports for video/audio. first MVP ip address or p3 uses
TCP 22001 ring UDP 8100-8150 video/connection. you just need to assign IP address to the device using and make sure port forward uses that IP only!!! same with p3.

problem is I asked YOU if you are still using MVP or what? what other videophone devices you have connected? all this makes a difference. I assumed that since you know how to mess with the port settings, you would know some of this. MY bad. I dont ask questions specifically what you have for the fun of it. Its for YOUR benefit and simplicity.

very good !!

Yes. The MVP is the only videophone in use on the network.

I've set a firewall rule on my firewall, this is a screenshot link:

But it still won't work properly. Will I have to specifically set 8100-8150 TCP *and* UDP separately?

dustinlw1987, I would be able to send you information on port forward but I cannot send you a private message about this. You need to post more 50 posting here in AllDeaf, then I can send you the information through private message. I do have information for MVP port forwarding. I still use MVP and works great for me. :)
