Some of you may have remembered a thread I created a couple years ago...

Well, it's back.

Two years ago, this drink was developed to promote an upcoming came... Halo 3.

This year, this drink was re-released to promote a popular game... World of Warcraft.

Only this time, there are 2 flavors.

Mountain Dew Game Fuel

The first flavor is the same as the one from 2 years ago. The other flavor seems to be like Mountain Dew Baja Blast from Taco Bell.

Has anyone tried them?
 
I haven't tried them, but are they only available for a limited time?

I don't care for Mountain Dew although I loved it when I was growing up. :)

Yes, they're available for a limited time... last the last Mountain Dew Game Fuel.

The Halo 3 edition was out for like a month.

Since there are 2 flavors this time, it might be out for 2 months. I got the red one a few weeks ago. The blue one just came out this week.

According to some sources, the blue one is a re-release of "Mountain Dew Revolution".
 
Mountain Dew as game fuel? It's not my kind of drink Id rather have when it comes to playing video games. Id rather have my Pabst Blue Ribbon as my game fuel lol.
 
Pabst Blue Ribbon? They still make that? :lol:

I'm from Milwaukee and remember when we had their brewery here along with Schlitz. :cool2:
 
I have tried both of them.

I bought 4 of each, yesterday at the grocery store. They had a promotion going on and they sold for 55 cents each.

The orange on is flavored with blast of citrus cherry.

Blue one is punch of wild fruit flavor.


I prefer the blue one.

Since I am not a big fan of cherry flavored drinks.
 
The blue one sounds good! I think I might pick some up. How much caffeine does it have? The reason I ask is because I need to be careful of how much I drink due to my moods. Does anyone know?

I like them. I actually like the red one better.

The blue one is their re-release of Mountain Dew Revolution. When they had their Dew-mocracy, that was one of their flavors. I guess it came in 2nd, so they decided to use that as the 2nd flavor for Mountain Dew Game Fuel.

I know that the red one is very high in caffeine.

Mountain Dew has 55 mg of caffeine.

Mountain Dew Game Fuel (red) has 120 mg of caffeine.

I don't know about Mountain Dew Game Fuel (blue), but since it's supposedly the re-release of Mountain Dew Revolution... it's probably 55 to 60 like the original. :dunno:
 
I honestly don't like mountain dew anymore. I used to drink that when I was a teenager.
 
I got my son Mountain Dew Code Red today. He really likes it :)

Mountain Dew Code Red is different from Mountain Dew Game Fuel.

Mountain Dew Code Red has been around for 8 years.
