do you do mountain biking ? if so, how often ? where do you usually ride on ? what level do you train on ? i would like to know what trails do u go because one day i might come over there for mtn biking.

i love mtn biking. i train on that at 3 to 6 days a week(depends on weather). i go to big creek and blanket creek right after my office almost daily and workout for 1 to 2 hrs. i go to advanced trails which are very challenge and a lot of funs(no fun when i get flat tires). hopefully i ll try out my first mtn biking race this year.

i have traveling to NC, VA, MD and GA for mtn bikings. this weekend i will go to TN and see how the trails will be. :)

I do and trying to get hang of it. I like it so far... currently 2 to 3 times a week anywhere. Last semester, I ride to UofA in the morning 2 time a week. As for this Summer, It won't be to UA and back but somewhere. When Fall semester resume, I will ride to UofA (5 miles each way). I am still novice not advanced or pro yet. eh..

when I say "trying to get hang of it" I mean the way I did when I was high school student which I rode bike (10sp) almost everyday. Now I can't but can do few days LOL so trying to get into it passionately you know?

We are bicycle fans... :D

My hubby got mountain bike as birthday gift from his friends at 2 years ago after sold his old one. My oldest son is going to sell his old one to buy mountain bike with the money, he collect from neighbors, friends, us and relatives at Confirmation at month ago. My younger son own hercules bicycle. At moment I have 10 years old bicycle (not brand like my 3 guys :giggle: ) but I love it.

My oldest son ride bicycle real a lot with his mates to 10 km to 15 km during Spring and Summer time. Sometimes they make contest...

We use bicycles a lot to travel town, countryside, long km, etc.

I will soon start check some trails in DC on internet and start bike around trails in DC in June and July

ah cool two weekend ago i went to DC and did ride with friends on C&O canel and other trails like from gally to DC to Betheda to Georgetown to DC to gally. total - 35 miles it was FUN ! i did break my chains in half way, but luckly i fixed it.

i did ride in rosaryville state park. it was the most fun to ride in MD - 10 miles one loop. i crossed several down trees and wooden bridge, forded creek, and did 28 mph downhill on rough trail.

if you are expert or intermediate on mountain bike, i suggest you to try at rosaryville state park. watch out the incoming bikers cuz that trail has two ways. be careful !
see this link - Rosaryville State Park Mountain Bike Trail in Upper Marlboro, Maryland || SINGLETRACKS.COM

if you are beginner, i suggest you not to try that at rosaryville state park. try cedarville state forest. i went to there and it was allright. it is a perfect trail for beginner and family riding together. see this link - Cedarville State Forest Mountain Bike Trail in Waldorf, Maryland || SINGLETRACKS.COM

ah, your hubby was deaf bike olympican ! that is cool. what year did he go in for olympic? was he mtn bike racer or road racer for olympic?

my daughter has a nice mtn bike 24" with 21 speed. she loves it. we go off roading for fun. she wants me to pay attention like she goes like " watch me, dad !" as she jumps over little humps or roots. :) i hope she ll try out mtn or road biking races some days like i did in TT(time trails) or triathlon races. i would love to be her biggest fan in races. :)

I love nature, going down to the creek or riverside or in the woods is my thing...

Wow, I've seen people riding bikes alot, for me I would love that but I tend to not know what kind of bike to get since I did buy one years ago it weigh A TON!!!! any help would be great!!! reasonable prices and what I should know before getting a new bike?? (I'm a beginner but I was an athletic for years can be competitive but lacked motivation to get back into it)... oops.. don't kick me too hard now lol..
